Pace should pay someone to stand behind and whisper this into his ear starting at midnight tonight, like the Roman Caesar's of old

Of course nobody wants to see Pace employed or trading up but I believe it is inevitable, that dipshit is trading up ag least once.

This is so weird.

Pace might be thinking, "What the hell?", I'm fired either way, so might as well trade up to get the Ohio State QB to buy me some more time.

If he doesn't do it, and the Bears go 8-8 with Dalton, he's fired. But if you get the young stud QB, he's thinking, it at least buys him more time.

What the fuck does Pace care about the Bears future knowing his ass is on the line?

This entire Bears situation is fucked up.

If the best player on the board is a defensive guy then you absolutely take him. CB is a major issue on this team and there maybe some real good CBs available at 20.

Defense doesn't matter anymore. Just line up 3 good wide receivers and throw the ball 70 times a game.

Trading down to 30 or 32 and drafting a quarterback that you would have taken in the 2nd round makes sense. It gives you the ability to keep him for an extra year if you guess right.

What's the problem? Would there have been a comparable T at 52? I was reading some stuff that had the Broncos possibly taking him at #9. I would have loved getting a WR, maybe Pace can find another late round option.

Pace can draft whatever small school UDFAs he wants to the rest of the way.

I’m satisfied.

Jenkins will be a fine right tackle. Probably a day 1 starter

We are sitting here at 49 and mayfield, and cosmi are there so yes comparable talent would have been available.

There will be talented wr there when they draft I the fifth. They needed to walk out of here with a starting cb. No way they get that. So now they have to make more cuts to sign one

I don’t think they NEEDED a starting CB in this draft.

He was brilliant yesterday in waiting. He usually is so premature they should call him two pump up pace
