Since the Bears are never this low in the draft, it was a good pick, though Pace panicked a little like he did with Floyd.

Unlike Mahomes, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has good technique and footwork. Reminds me of Romo---slippery in the pocket and is a dual threat. Doesn't phase me that he only played 13 college games.

Now go and draft an O-line, Pace.

And sportwriters, stop saying (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky won't play in 2017. That's idiotic. The Bears went through four quarterbacks last year.

This really doesn't upset me. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky could single handedly make the Bears a perennial contender in a way no other non-QB could. Sucks to give up the picks but Cleveland had stockpiled a lot of resources and outbidding them would hurt.

Called Justin Herbert in like January of last year and never wavered.

Oh yes he did. He liked Herbert for about a week and then went sour on him, ultimately saying that if Herbert wound up on the Bears it would be a disaster.

I love Nas, but I’ll never understand his ability to ignore the straight up bigotry and racism America posted out of respect for his football takes.

Dude, just text me personally if you need to talk Bears football that bad.

The Fields trade is 200 percent more rational. The (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky trade was a GM in over his head.

That would have been fun if the Bears had signed (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky for a fifth year instead of Dalton

Would have been a good qb competition.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky might get a chance after all. The Bills owner just floated the idea of cutting un-vaccinated players and I think Josh Allen is a vaccine skeptic. (I'm sure none of this has a chance of happening, but fun to dream.)

I’d again note my skepticism that young, rich, athletes in great physical condition are going to seek out the COVID vaccine.

Maybe the fat guys...

I would think for the athletes, it's not about fear of getting sick, but more just trying to be practical about avoiding positive tests that screw up their seasons.

The NFL already announced that vaccinated players will only be tested weekly instead of daily. They are also eliminating the "close contact" quarantine for anyone that is vaccinated. So if the QB coach tests positive and Fields is vaccinated, he still plays that week. If Field's isn't vaccinated, he's in quarantine.

Is this like that one time the Nets got all excited because Yi Jianlian was lighting up chairs at a pre draft workout?

All coaches are like that. Just once I would like to hear a coach say, "you know today our practice was complete shit."

However, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's problems rarely surface in practices and especially in practices against "air," like in much of the OTAs. It's when he goes against actual humans and defenses that he has trouble

I assume this is targeted at Nagy? Given that article from Rich Campbell about Pace having a mancrush on him, I would be shocked if everything wasn't done within his power to make (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky succeed.

Fuck him. Maybe spend less time worrying about things you don't control and more time watching film so you can diagnose man vs zone coverage pre snap

I'm a casual fan, but I've never seen a QB look as lost as he did at the start of 2019. How long did it take for him to throw his first TD? You can blame Nagy, not having enough offensive weapons and the line, but at the end of the day the guy just didn't have it.

The whining about not being cared about as a person seems childlike.
