If I put a bunch of money on the Lions in 2023 I would be going on a safari with my winnings.

None of the beanbags on this site have a clue as to how Fields will do in the NFL. The ones who guessed correct will pull the "See, I told you so" line and the ones who guess wrong will either defend or ignore and then move on to their next expert prognostication.

And any of the people who think that you can figure out if a QB is going to be good based upon where they went to college are idiots. Joe Montana went to Notre Dame. The best QB since him from there is Steve Beuerlein. Then it was total bust 1st round picks like Rick Mirer, Brady Quinn, 2nd round picks DeShone Kizer and Jimmy Clausen and a bunch of other garbage that had no success in the NFL for the last 30 years.

The Buccs have won the division more recently than the Lions. Stop.

Both guys lit Clemson up equally! This is a very intelligent point I am making!

You are conveniently leaving out Book's 1st meeting with them.

Because you were conveniently leaving out Book's 2nd and much more important meeting with them.

The 2nd meeting didn’t matter to ND as much because they knew they’d be in the playoff no matter the outcome.

OK, but you better not bring this up and say, "See, I told you so" when someone here is correct about Fields and brags about it.

I hate trading up, Im a firm believer in having as many darts as possible. That said, I feel better about Fields being our franchise QB than any other QB they have drafted in my lifetime. Just by sheer luck you would eventually find a QB given enough chances..think this is our guy.

It’s crazy to me you’re not excited about this. He’s going to be by far the best QB you’ve ever rooted for in your life.

Idk man.

Fields just didn’t wow me for some reason, and I’d love to be wrong.

Hopefully, he’s taller Kyler Murray, and not Mitch 2.0.

Look who’s coaching him tho.

Way stronger arm than Mitch and he's tough, Mitch couldn't take a hit.
Mitch also looked like a deer in headlights on camera and sounded even worse. Fields seems pretty confident and real relaxed in interviews.

More i read about him the more I like. Pace track record gives you pause. Fields is very impressive though.

Whats impressive is he wins games. Wins. Not loses. Wins.

He's been in the spotlight for a lot of years and he's dealt with some adversity. That should help him adjust to the NFL quicker than most. Now they just have to coach him up.

It's not exactly hard for a young Bears quality to win me over (Orton and Cutler being the only exceptions), but I was really impressed with his interview with Parkins and Spiegs.

I’m with you bills.

I can’t get past the Northwestern game. He looked a lot like Mitch the whole game when his first read wasn’t open.

Ive been watching his interviews and pressers. This kid is not an idiot. But its like the only thing he cares about is winning football games, and he expects to win, and he doesnt even consider not winning. This is cool af.
