Why would the international committee vote Rose or Mayo in?

If Kiki would've just gotten that 1st team all Pac 10 in 1979 I might've given it to him

But I do appreciate your Whataboutism style of posting. Maybe next round you can pick a guy who is actually considered as a guy who should be in the HOF rather than pick a guy who no one thinks should be there?

Uh, Vandeweghe was a two time All-Star too. I'm sorry he was averaging 20 a game against men while Kukoc was playing against European teenagers. But I appreciate you digging in to your silly argument.

The NBA and NFL got it right when it comes to hall of fame's. they understand it's a museum and they want the most recent star players to get in there.

baseball is run by a bunch of petty old timers. it's much harder to get in but they seem to miss the big picture in terms of marketing their game. Like who under 30 knew who Ted Simmons was.

you don't read so good do you? The mask is supposed to go around your nose and mouth, not your eyes. Go look at my post again. I posted that Kiki was a 2 time all star.

European teenagers? What on Earth do you mean by that? You think the Euroleague is full of teenagers and not men? Seriously, you that ignorant about something you are posting about?

Kukoc won Mr. Europa 4x, double more than anyone else. That award is given to the best European basketball player in the world, regardless of what league they play in. It was handed out between 1976-2010. Other players of note who won it less than Kukoc:

Sabonis 2x
Drazen Petrovic 2x
Divac
Stojakovic 2x
P Gasol 2x
Nowitzki

You really gonna sit there with a straight face and say I'm the one with the silly argument? GTFO

Yeah, I am. If Vandeweghe had played in Europe they probably would have made him the Crown Prince of Bosnia. Vandeweghe averaged 9 points a game more than Kukoc and shot an incredibly higher percentage. Your argument is silly.

stopped reading after the bolded. I don't live in the world of what ifs and neither does the HOF.

Let's turn this around and give you an out. Explain to me why Kukoc doesn't deserve to be in the HOF? I will only accept answers that account for the HOF being a basketball HOF and not an NBA HOF.

I actually liked Toni Kukoc. He contributed a lot to the Bulls. But, he was a major disappointment compared to the hype Jerry Krause spewed about him. Never top 20 assists (he was called 'The Waiter"), rebounds. Only once scoring. Jordan and Pippen propped up a lot of guys careers. Just not him. Krause thought Kukoc would lead the Bulls post Jordan to more titles. He was dead wrong. I believe it was Krause who referred to him as the ' European Magic Johnson'". That comparison soon ended when he arrived.

Not sure what you're talking about. Kukoc is probably a mid to late lottery pick if any team knew what he'd become as a NBA player. Krause got him in the second round and he blossomed into a key player behind the Bulls' second three-peat. He filled in for Pippen as the second-best offensive player on the team when Pip was injured/didn't have it, and was the only guy after MJ and Pip who could create his own shot. Disappointment my ass.

Vito's recollection is correct. Krause hyped the hell out of Kukoc that he was on par or better than Jordan. It was unfair to Toni because the team , particularly MJ and Pippen, treating him like shit because he was Krause's guy.

MJ did carry Toni's career for the second 3 peat like many other players. I like Toni and he was a good player but there is no way he would have led a team as the #1 guy to a championship.
