It's not really fair to judge a show from a quick listen. Life's not fair.

From listening to the last half hour, I never thought I'd say it but it's a better show with just Larry.

- Hampton needs a 20 second head-start to get a sentence out. I know he's always been a bit of a stutterer but this was out of control. I don't know if he's nervous or what.

- Hampton = too many cliches and his depth of knowledge in non-football sports seems shallow.

- Danimal reminds me of a cross between John Madden and Ron Santo.

Still one of my favorite players though. Just brutal on the radio.

Perhaps there is an operation he could undergo to improve his performance. That always worked in the old playing days.

One of the truly epic horrible shows of all time...all time. They did better shows in the stone age...actually thats what it sounded like...the paleozoic. I agree Larry is better by himself...just don't turn on the transmitter. Let him hear it and play M&H again for the listeners. Larry must be humiliated and Hampton must be looking for something to drag into the cave.

If LH has to put up with shows like what I heard for very long, he's going to become a sympathetic character for me real quickly.

He will not be doing well.

You're right, it was stone age. At one point, I swear I heard a commercial for those big Brontosaurus ribs that Fred Flinstone gets at the drive-in . . . then again, Hampton did the read, so I'm not totally sure what it was for.

Nothing like stealing a topic from the Webber/Rock show from the day before. Way to go Larry, way to be original.

We've heard Urkel on the Score for years. He's always sucked. He shows no signs of improvement, and he never will.
We've heard enough of Hampton on WGN and doing Chevy commercials over the years. Between the two, we've had enough stool samples to be able to successfully predict this show was going to blow ass.



Vocal chord removal?

Because of an early White Sox/Indians' game tomorrow, LoHo & "Hamp" will have to squeeze about 2 hours into 30 minutes...

That'll be enough time for Hampton to stammer and stutter through two sentences, and Urkel will be able to explain what the Pulse is twice.

Dan Hampton was and will always be a Hall of Fame football player, that left everything on the field.

Hampton is my all time favorite bear, but he makes Joe Cain sound like a life long radio guy. If this last 8 months, I will be stunned.

Anyone heard any rumblings as to what Lawrence has said about Hampton? Did he have any say in his partner?

Holmes hasn't said a word, and he had ZERO input. He's just glad to finally have a show.

BF its seems like thats all they do when they aren't giggling laughing in the background. BB: 10 minutes of talk followed by 50 minutes of laughter and giggling(sarcastic..sorta)

Obviously you don't listen to talk radio topics get talked about all the time. If you don't like the show, don't like it but at least have a good reason

Is it just me, or does Dan Hampton stutter like John Melendez used to do on the "Howard Stern Show"? He can't seem to get a complete sentence out without stuttering. Listen to Hampton try to talk and you'll know what I mean...
