No, Heyward should not go back into the lineup. Putting him into the lineup would be handicapping the team. Wisdom has been outstanding in his 19 at bats so far (9 hits, 4 HR) and should have a couple weeks at least to prove this isn't fools gold. Looks good in the field as well as batting. If he proves he is legit, I would love to see Bryant continue in RF, Marisnick in CF (when he returns), Pedersen in LF, Wisdom at 3rd and Hoerner back at 2nd when he returns. JAVY, Rizzo and Contreras complete the picture. Heyward and Haap on the bench, with Heyward a defensive replacement. 6 series wins in a row now.....pretty sweet. Kimbrell looked pretty much unhittable. The bullpen as a whole, once again outstanding. Not going to be easy to gain the sweep tomorrow but Alzolay has not given up more than 3 runs in his last 8 starts and Tatis is likely to miss the game, so maybe the brooms get some more work.

The buy, sell, or stand pat storyline is really really interesting right now.

July 31st is a long ways away but man I don’t see how you deal what few prospects you do have to try and “win it all” because there’s no way this starting rotation can carry you to an NLCS appearance.

Having them flame out in the post season once again AND losing KB, javy and rizz for nothing in their walk year would be criminal on Jeds part

But watching them play quality baseball right now sure is enjoyable

I don’t think this is sustainable considering the starting staff but count me in as surprised at this stat.
