A juiced up Jose Canseco hits a ball into the 3rd deck with an air raid siren blasting in the background.

Nobody would listen to Earl Weaver. "Quit bunting" was around long before the Great Bill James

Schambi just theorized that in this new era of 5 inning starters , if you can put up a sub 3 ERA youre gonna get paid . The bar gets ever lower.

You know whats making baseball feel like oldtime baseball? Look at the cubs lineup today. Yung joc happ baez rizzo then... LOL! a parade of ~30yr old usually white little shits who would love to stick as a career backup. You iw, the kind of guys who see david bote and #DareToDream.

Then after your wisdoms ortegas and some hilariously named catcher ive never heard of you literally have MLB's #1 little bitch player in the lineup: Eric Sogard

So the creepy ricketts clan got their triangle building hotels and whatever else they wanted, they got their token champiobship, and now (thanks uncle covid!) Theyre back to playing poor and dumping anyone with a pulse sns a market value and soon we're gonna have the 2021 versions of bobby scales and kevin roberson out there plying their trade. Idk about you, but to me #ThatsCub

It's so great to talk with a major league scout friend, and talk about the things that make a ballplayer pop at an early age.

I may go get a scout's floppy hat and an umbrella and catch a few amateur night games this summer. :D

Are you going to share any of his insights with us, or just tease us?
