He played under control for all but a couple of plays in the game (4th quarter) but Middleton was clearly the star of that game. My biggest concern is Harden is getting healthy. You can't count on Middleton doing that on the road. I'm somewhat concerned, but I also know Harden is good for series deciding mistakes.

He made a couple of good plays on defense and knocked down a couple of shots. He was far more active last night. That tells me he is getting confidence and healthier.

I did also like seeing Giannis cover Durant and Harden at different points down the stretch.

It's interesting that you don't see the same "Jordan never did THIS" stuff brought up when other players have these types of stat lines.

In the second half Harden had 2 pts and 3 assists.

Middleton was great and you're right about him on the road. He has shot 36%, 35% & 26% in the 3 losses so far. You can't win at this stage without at least 2 players stepping up. Even as unbelievable as Durant was the other night, Jeff Green put up 27 pts on 73% shooting (incl. 7 of 8 on 3's). If he plays to his usual stats the series would be over.

He did not. I double checked the play by play. I had the under 17.5 pts. He had 14 at half and thought that was a loser.

3 really good second round series. Maybe I don't have a great NBA playoff history memory but this seems rare.

I still think Philly wins tonight, they have been winning by 20 in every game, they just need to hold it down this time.

ESPN’s chyron/ticker combo make me feel like I’m watching CNBC at times.

Also, Ben Simmons just air balled a layup. Quite the feat for a guy closing in on 7’.
