Lines from Sportsbook.com

NCAA

Northwestern/Duke Under 44

With Hanna possibly wrecking havoc, this could be a sloppy low scoring game.

East Carolina +8 vs West Virginia

Pirates also get some help from Hanna and helps to keep this one close.

San Diego St. +21.5 @ Notre Dame

Too many points for the Irish to be giving based on last year. The hook makes this one even easier to take.

UConn -6.5 @ Temple

Huskies will have another good year, and roll past the Owls.

NFL

Bengals -2 @ Ravens

Bengals have no reason not to win this game by at least a touchdown.

Jets/Dolphins OVER 36

Shootout in South Florida. Pennington should know the Jets defense well enough for lots of points here.

Texans +6.5 @ Steelers

Wouldn't be shocked by an outright Texans victory here. Game should come down to a late field goal.

Lions -3 @ Falcons

Another bet against a rookie qb opening up against a high powered offense.

Saints -3 vs Bucs

Saints should start out much better this season.

Browns +6 vs Cowboys

Should be a shootout, and the Cowboys suspect pass defense gets exposed in a tight one.

Bears/Colts UNDER 44

Both offenses will struggle in this one.

Raiders +3 vs Broncocs

Raiders are much better than people think, and the Bronocs are no where near as good as people think.

From thegreek.com:

Miami +23 against Florida
Big number to give a former BCS contender

Oklahoma -21.5 over Cincinnati
Didn't Stoops come from the Currier (sp?) system of running up the score

Arizona -2.5 over the 49ers
49ers still suck

New Orleans / Tampa over 42.5
Can the Saints reach that total themselves?

3-0-1 --> I'll take it.

Auburn-So. Miss OVER 46
Auburn run game was pretty efficient last week, yet expect the passing game to get some practice today also. So. Miss allowed Lafayette a lot of yards last week, which doesn't bode well facing AU. However, SoMiss spread offense was pretty effective last week (albeit against a ULL) and their faster pace and high number of passes should lead to more possessions in this game. War Eagle should come close to this number by themselves, but I'm not about to lay that kind of wood.

Miami-Ohio +14.5 @ Michigan
Michigan's offensive performance last week vs. Utah was horrendous...They put 23 points on the board, but late field position advantages make that misleading. 3.2 yards per play and very sloppy trying to adjust to the new offense. Will Michigan be more efficient and not so sloppy today? Probably, but they have a long way to go to be efficient enough to cover this nut. Miami O was outclassed by Vandy, but the Vandy win vs. South Carolina makes that one look not so bad. UM has a new coach, new system and a young team. But this number gives way too much credit to history.

This contest is ovah. Chus is hitting at about 80% with a high volume of picks.

Congratulations my man.

Week 1

Bengals -1 vs Ravens- Bengals better get this one or it will be a long season

Jets -3 vs Dolphins- I think Favre puts on a show for his new team.

Lions -3 vs Falcons- Another team that needs to get one or it could be a long season.

Chargers -9.5 vs Panthers- I think the Chargers start off the good season with a dominating performance.

Cardinals -1 vs 49ers- If it is the Cardinals year, they better get this one.

Colts -10 vs Bears- I think Manning puts on a show for missing the preseason.

I am terrified of Chus's out of the gate record when Don adds it up, might be something like 34-14. but here goes..

for Pinnacle 9:30ish

Jets/Dolphins under 36.5, low under but this game will be ugly as the defenses are definitely better than the offenses

Cincy -1, I mean if CJ, cinco and TJ can't beat a rookie QB they should go to the local cincy jail, where they will be welcome

New Orleans -3, fan emotion from the hurricane scare spurs on the saints, shockey gets a TD.

Detroit -3, similar to cincy, with all of atlanta changes and rookie qb they should win be a couple tds

Dallas -6, yes I am drinkning the Dallas kool aid, also think cleveland might be a one hit/year wonder

St. Louis +9.5, I am banking on they will swallow enough clock (not cock) with a revamped running game to keep this close

San Fran +2.5 Kurt Warner throws 3 picks and fumbles once, San Fran wins in an ugly one (this spread was from the greek)

Bills -1 i seriously think the NFC West might be won with a 7-9 record, look for the bills to have a good season

Green Bay -1, Green Bay shut down Vikings run game at Lambo last year, they will do it again, Tavaris throws 2 picks in the 2nd half

Bears +10, a wise man once told me there is a big diff between 9.5 and 10 when I saw this go up to 10 couldn't resist. Indy's OL issues esp the center will keep this game close enough, look for Orton to have a suprisingly good game.

Detroit -3 over Atlanta

Alot of new in Atlanta. Detroit has a new O coach this year also. Maybe later in the year I would like Atlanta, but with it being the first game I gotta take the group that has been together a little longer.

Houston +7 over Pitt

Pitt O line struggled a little last year and that was with Faneca. He's gone and I think the Hou D keeps the Pitt O in check while their O does enough to keep this one under a TD.

Chus, are you playing these or do you wait for baseball to end before starting football?

Good for you, ride the hot pony.
Heck, maybe you can make a few extra shekels by becoming an expert on a certain former hot-dog man turned failed radio host's site.

Arizona -2.5 over SF

Arizona should be able to score enough to win this one. Laying less than a FG looks good to me.

We all know the Bears O is gonna have some problems. Bears D should play pretty good tonite. I think both teams will run it a bunch.

After a dismal Sunday

Vikings +1 vs Packers- I think the Vikings need to show they are ready for the division title with a win here.

Broncos -3 vs Raiders- I think the Raiders are improving, but the last time they were in this game they lost 27-0 to the Chargers 2 years ago and I'm a Broncos fan.

GB -1.5 over Minny (oddsmaker)

I still think GB is the team to beat in this division. Rodgers should be fine. Was a dog series for a while until last year. Maybe now it turns into a fav series for a while.

Vikings/Packers Under 37.5 (beted) -- I'm going with the under because dont fade me says never to pick an over on a nationally televised game, and MN is never wrong about anything.

Denver @ Oakland +3 (40 1/2)

J. Russell and D. Mcfadden light it up for the Raider Nation fans in the end zone. May be a fire hazard. Take the over.
