Isn't it going to be different now as they don't have the number of minor league teams that need players. Also, isn't the draft only 25 rounds now, compared to a couple of years ago when it was 40?

I'm not sure as caring about the MLB draft is a ridiculously futile pursuit, but I think that is the logic.
