Highly overpaid troll Skip Bayless was just remarking how HE is protecting Jordan's legacy by sniping at the redo of Space Jam. I'm sure Jordan is laughing at the notion of this latest cape. I listen to his show because I find Shannon Sharpe hilarious but have to ptfb when the trolling gets to be too much.

And I'm not even a big LeBron fan.

I can't even comprehend this comment...

I grew up around a lot of athletes who talked and joked like Shannon. It's a matter of preference, I find him as funny as others find sitcoms over the last 20 years or campy movies like Anchorman, The Big Lebowski and Borat.

But I have got a lot of respect for Giannis. Guy stuck with his original team and has worked hard to try and get them to a championship, and it looks like he has been successful in that.

Guys like Durant and Lebron could take a lesson from him.

What did the Bucks do to you?

I have hated the Packers and Wisconsin for years and the Bucks just get lumped into that.

Fake outrage again.

Not outraged, I'm simply in awe of how disingenuous you can get when it comes to defending someone on your team from even the faintest criticism.

Why should LeBron care about Hong Kong? Just to stay consistent? That seems a terrible reason.

I ripped him like everybody else because he jumped down Morey's throat. Not because of HK.

His calling Morey's stance uneducated was wildly hypocritical and self-serving, especially from someone who declares himself too important to society to not speak out on issues concerning oppressed people.

We're all hypocrites. I should give a shit about a lot of things but I'd drive myself nuts if I did. His mistake wasn't being a hypocrite. It was protecting his territory. Ol Morey came by and pissed on his fencepost. He overreacted. He'll admit it or he would if you asked him.

english is mandatory in the schools there and they teach the queen's english. i was shocked at how good the younger generation(s) speak it.

the 'novelty' of a giannis is much like americans commenting on how humble and down-to-earth most canadian hockey players are, compared to american athletes. the sociocultural nuances and differences stick out quickly.

good for john.

Strange thread reading it all just now.

Giannis deserves all the praise he is getting since last night. He solidified his status as an all time great player, and is on the very short list of best Finals clinching games in the history of the league.

I see nothing inconsistent or wrong about juxtaposing how he won his championship vs how Lebron has won his rings. But to be fair I think it should be acknowledged that if Kyrie and Harden dont both get hurt the Bucks probably get swept in the 2nd round this year by the much reviled super team.

and if about 10 different people on multiple teams didn't get hurt The Cubs would have never got lucky one year and Theo would have been run out of town in a gorilla costume
