ive been listening to espn radio for going on my 7th year now. The only good morning show i can remember is Carmen and Silvy.

Im not here to be negative but i must say that Waddle, hes, hes just not good.

Here are my reasons:

He never has an original thought.
Hes not funny.
Terrible radio delivery.


Dont get me wrong he seems like a nice guy and i have nothing personal against him but i would much rather hear carmen and silvy in the morning that silvy and waddle.

I know it's supposed to be part of his draw but I hate Waddle's attitude.
He is so fucking smarmy all the time. Like he's too cool to be there.
Bring back Carmen.

I think it works perfect though, because Silvy is so quirky that it makes Waddle more likable if anyone can understand that.

W&S is the best show in town, hands down.

I see what your saying but Carmen is a way better "cool guy" than Waddle. im 25 and it was always fun hearing C&S talking about going out the night before of talking about chicks. Now its stories about waddles 3 girls and silvy just sounds like a gay guy...

Waddle and Silvy are my favorite show now. The bits they do are funny and even though Waddle may be a little Giangreco sometimes I like what they do. Swarmy is not the word I'd use to describe Waddle him but to each is own.

hands down? MJH is the most entertaining show in town. The Show is the most informative. Just my opinion.

I'll go with the old argument about being overrated. You have to be rated highly in the first place to be considered overrated. IMO, Silvy is the main guy on the show (despite the name of the show); Waddle is just there to add whatever he can. I don't expect much from him so I guess you'd have to suck pretty bad to be overrated. So for that reason I'd say he's not overrated.
Good show. I'd rather keep it than risk listening to what they might replace it with.

Well, considering Waddle is getting national air time now (mike and mike) i would say hes been legitimately rated.

Although I'm sure it's their goal, the opinion of ESPN management doesn't control my thought system. Since there's no rating system I can only go by my opinion so I'll stick with my original thought.

I get a team being over rated and the talk of maybe having a lowered rank team beat them, but who cares if a radio/TV host is over rated/over loved? Turn the channel when Waddle is on if you don't care for him. I hate Mike/Mike, therefore don't listen anymore. Change your habits or put up with it and stop complaining.

Is Waddle gone a lot? I feel like 75% of the time I tune in he isn't there.

Waddle over rated? YES!

But I still listen to, and like, the show a lot.

I listen all the time and I never hear about Silvy going out on the town. If I do, its about as much as I hear about Waddles family.

First two posts hit it perfectly. Waddle is good on Final Word and NFL Net, but here with Silvy, it is just bad. He doesn't add anything.

Not saying they are the greatest, but it works. Good opposites for a show. Silvy reminds me of a guy I went to college with.
