Konerko, Griffey, Ramirez in the 9th. I think Alexi can get a hold of one. Hopefully somebody is on and we can end it.

Who's the Jays closer? Is he good? I forget.

3.12 means you can get to him. It's good it's not great for a closer.

I don't know why MacDougal is allowed to be here. Should have went to Jenks in the 9th. Jenks didn't pitch Sunday and we were off yesterday. I know it's not a save but fuck that. Just go to him to keep it close.

MacDougal is a fuck!!!!! He serves no purpose. Not just in baseball but in life.

2 solo HRs sunday, 1 run on 2 hits today. Not going to win much with that kind of offense.

It is ridiculous that major league players cannot lay down a decent bunt.

Swisher Strikes out looking.

That son of a bitch stikes out more, looking, than anybody in the history of fuckin' major league baseball. I'm not kidding. It's really amazing. He did it yesterday to end the game. Does it here. Has done it a shit load this year.

Swing the fuckin' bat you fucking Cocksucker!!!!

What pisses me off the most, is that look he gives, when the ball is clearly over the plate. I'm dead serious. I've never seen a guy get more "called 3rd strikes". It just blows me away every time he refuses to swing. Especially late when the game is on the line.

Thank God the Sox are playing in the Central. Right now the Sox and Twins keep losing. Battle of futility right now. With a win tonight and a Twins loss we can be up 3 games with 18 to go.

It looks like the Red Sox, Rays and Angels are all gonna get 96 wins or more. It might just take 90 or 91 to win the central.

The good news is, if we get in, are pitching has been pretty good of late. We'll have a shot in the playoffs with that going for us. I mean Vazquez was pretty damn good in this loss. Danks was good yesterday. Buehrle and Floyd have been OK to good.

This offense will get shut down by good pitching in the playoffs.

We won't be favored against anybody in the playoffs. I'm aware of that. But if our pitching holds up, we will have the ability to get that bloop, walk, and the 3-run homer. We can win a couple of games 4-2 or 4-3. It wouldn't shock me.

AJ Burnett is fantastic when he's pitching for a contract. The Sox need to rough up the former Devil Rays bat-bot Rusty Litsh this evening. Especially with Doc Halladay going tomorrow.

I have no numbers to back this up, but the Sox are awful against the top pitchers. I realize most teams are bad against the best, that't why they are the best, but the Sox make every good pitcher look like Koufax.

Guess what? Everybody is awful against top pitching. That's why they are "top pitchers".

You win some 2-1, 3-2, or 4-3 in the playoffs. Where both starters are good. You try to get their bullpen. Our starters can be "top pitchers" in the playoffs. That's all I'm saying.

By the way, Sox hit C C Sabathia well in two games this year. We killed Holliday earlier this year. We've hit Verlander well when he was "good". We've hit Zambrano in the past.

We can get 'em every now and then.

It's a new game. We only had to wait 4 hours. Twins can lose. We can win here. It will be happy times again.

Hawk and DJ are broadcasting this game from the center field "Fan Deck". They're wearing blackhawk jerseys. So the Hawks are paying the Sox for this promo thing.

Offense is gonna have to put up 8 or 9 tonight. Ozzie is gonna have to have a quick hook on Clayton. We have a deep bullpen with the call ups. Use them. Mix and match.

Why the fuck is Wise getting the start in Left? I don't know what Anderson did but that is the deepest doghouse I have ever seen. I think if I were in uniform Ozzie would play me ahead of Anderson. And I don't care that Wise got a hit while I was typing this it's still a bad call.

Anderson is only gonna play against lefties. That's just the way it is. Wise is equal to Anderson. Maybe better since he is a lefty. No problem with it.

Hell, he got a hit and broke up a double play. So we got a baserunner and saved an out cuz of him. He's already had a good game.

Wow. It really is "Lick the Blackhawks" Day at the Cell. Reinsdorf got some money from Rocky Wirtz for this. Good. Put that towords the payroll next year.

Still pissed about Wise playing Keyser?

He's 2-2, broke up a double play, made a nice running catch, and scored a run. We're only in the 3rd.

Sometimes gambles pay off, but I gotta say it is an odd move by Ozzie to start Wise, but cannot argue with the results so far.

I don't mind Wise playing over Anderson. Especially vs righties. That makes sense obviously. I didn't like Owens getting that start the other day over Anderson vs righties. Owens is a lefty but he sucks.

Wise might be taking some time away from Swisher. Not just tonight but with this performance he'll get more time.

That's what I meant by a quick hook. It's pretty clear Richard is a 4 inning pitcher. We've seen this a few times this year. Then he loses it. His destiny is the bullpen. He could be a good 7th or 8th inning guy.
