Trade Dalton or Foles to Dallas, either of them should be worth at least 2 first round picks in Jerry Jones world.

Fields went from +350 to start week one to +190 after today's game.

No reason at all, but you're right -- starting Dalton and then bringing in Fields after 4-6 games guarantees them another year. Starting Fields in Game 1 and going 6-11 would doom at least one of them.

No way. Bears ownership is all in on Pace, Nagy, and now Fields. If they went 6-11 and Fields looked like shit they would still get another two years.

Nothing looking good on offense right now

Darnell Mooney was like top 5 or 10 in the league last year at average yards of separation or whatever the stat is called.

That was last year. I’m talking about right now.

I don’t understand. Do you think he somehow lost speed or skill over the offseason?

No, I’m talking about what I saw in the game we were watching with the players that were on the field. I’m not sure how that is being overlooked by you. But addressing DM specifically -he put up 600 or so yards last year, not a huge sample size to be guaranteeing his ranking in getting separation last year will carry over to meaning anything this year.

But since this is pre season I guess the level of debate in these threads has to mirror the product on the field.

Rodney Adams.

Bears have the best quarterback in the division, they might also have the best wide receiver with the last name of Adams in the division as well.

shut up.

Fields looked GREAT, but it was preseason game #1.

I love Dalton and hope it's his job.

Can't walk. I've seen a handful of Philly games the last few years and every single time that guy is being helped off the field. They might get a few games, a game, a series out of the guy but his lower half has been beat to hell.

Watching Fields break the pocket with his eyes downfield while maintaining his feet in a good throwing position is a marked difference from watching Mitch stumble out of the pocket, put his head down, and run to contact.

Mitch was a good athlete with good speed for a QB, but could never learn how to use his mobility to open up receivers.

Every single pre season he has been here Ryan Nall has looked better than good but it never translates into much during the regular season. What is it about that guy that he seems to show so well?

There's nothing that scare me more than a team that looks really good during the pre-season.

I like Fields, but this is not a playoff team.

The O-Line doesn't have to be the '80s Bears to give that guy time to throw. He makes his own time and runs as needed.

It's incredibly frustrating to watch when he's on the other side. He isn't any longer.

This is why I believe it is Fields job to lose. Nagy realizes Dalton doesn’t have a chance with a shitty offensive line.

This morning I heard that the 0-16 Lions and Browns both went undefeated in the exhibition season.
