Mitch will never be the smartest guy in the huddle who can read a field and create favorable matchups on his own but he does not look nearly as bad as Nagy's dumbass offense made him look.

Bears defense is bad right now.. but anyone should have realized Mitch wasn’t the only problem. I’ve been screaming about coaching and play calling under Nagy for years at this point. And stuff like this -and him looking good at the end of the year last year when Nagy gave up play calling- confirms what everyone should already know.. Mitch is decent, Nagy and shit coaching are the Bears biggest onfield issues

I don't have the stats up but I would guarantee this is Mitch's best yds/attempt number of any game in his career. I haven't seen a deep ball yet but it must be nice to not have 50-60 percent of your passes be delayed swings to the back.

Nope. Nagy thinks he knows something no one else does -Zebra don’t change its stripes Nas. He’s another in a long line of Bears ‘smartest guy in the room’ types.


That said, I think Fields can handle his offense just fine. It will be Nagys constant substitutions, huddling up after big plays (killing momentum), and dumb situational football calls that consistently dog overall Bears offensive success

The WR literally had to reach over and behind the defenders helmet to get the ball. Prior to that the DB and WR were in step with one another, so not sure what you consider separation but to me -that wasn’t it.
