Even more amazing that there isn't even a regular Web.com/Korn Ferry or Champions tour stop in the metro area.

And yet, here in Columbus, not only do you have The Memorial, which is one of the biggest non-major events every year, but also there is a Korn Ferry playoff event here this weekend. Go figure.

Go Cantlay. I can’t stand Dechambeau although I’ll root for him at the Ryder.

This has been a fun watch the last two days.

Bones Mackay just agreed to handle bag carrying duties for Justin Thomas this coming season. Should be an interesting duo.

I am more interested to hear if he fired Johnson or Johnson just decided to retire. He has had some health issues in recent years and was just voted into the Hall of Fame.

I can't find anything on that aspect of the story.

Thomas's tweet was that Johnson wanted to pursue other opportunities and definitely was not fired.

Scott must have skin as thick as a rhino. Bubba seems like one of the biggest whiners on tour and blames a lot of other things for his bad play but namely his caddy is who appears to take the brunt of it. I know Bubba seems like a decent guy in real life but he just needs to keep his mouth shut and work on whatever his swing issue is that particular week.

DeChambeau vs Koepka in a 12 hole match day after Thanksgiving. Will take place out in Vegas. Hopefully won't be pay per view. Not sure what to expect with this one. Format has not been
announced either.

It's going to be on TBS or TNT. Why only 12 holes is my question?

I would guess since it's a "made for TV" exhibition anyway, might as well chop it down to a TV friendly time limit. The ratings for 18 holes wouldn't be any higher than 12, and it likely fits better in between NBA games, etc.

Maybe they will combine some holes and try to make a par 6 or 7 on a long stretch.

The PGA Tour will adopt a local rule officially restricting the usage of green and yardage books beginning in early 2022, according to a report from reporter Brian Wacker Monday night.

According to the report, which appears to include a screenshot from a memo shared with PGA Tour players and staff, green and yardage books in their present form will be outlawed from golf’s biggest professional tour. In their place, the Tour’s competition committee will authorize the creation of its own “Committee Approved” yardage books, which the memo says will include traditional green information, but will not allow the raw information on slopes and grades that many have argued serves to undermine the skill of green-reading.

Agree.

Its funny, I wouldn't mind them being allowed to use rangefinders. But laying out a physics experiment before hitting a 12' putt is ridiculous.

It will be interesting to see how far he hits the ball.

The PNC family thing is always a fun tournament to watch. I'm actually surprised the galleries aren't larger.

I am certain, the galleries are invite only.

I think this is so cool. Look how nervous she is walking up to him and just whispers, "Hi Tiger".

Tiger and Charlie shoot 57! My Steelers were on but I must admit I watched more golf than football.

I tuned in to watch the last 5 holes or so. It was a good watch and was pulling for them to eagle the last somehow.

That was great stuff with them but my god , you’d never know the Daly’s actually won the tournament from the way the media is covering it .

It is crazy how much Tiger moves the meter. It was pretty incredible to see him out there playing but by watching him I would say there is almost no chance he will be playing at the Masters this year.
He looks like he was in some discomfort both days on the back nine. Just don't see him being able to walk Augusta at this point.
