Fields is not ready to face elite defensive players yet. He hasn't even faced them in preseason yet. Look at what Peyton Manning did his first year and get back to me. That being said, it would be exciting if he started week 1

yea i think he could handle it. that was a hard hit too, but it didnt seem to phase him. hes going to be a target no matter what, with all the damn hype he gets.

I'm not sure how much of the offense Fields is comfortable suspensionwith. My suspicion is he is very limited.

He was sacked once, the short yardage running game sucks. Nothing exciting at all so far. Bears have a total of 40 yards.

Bears are hopeless. 2-15 type team. 0-17 type coach and GM.

He's 4 of 6 with a decent scramble that he probably would have tried to make a move on in a real game instead of giving up on it.

He hasn't really been asked to do much.

Another game in the books where a Nagy called offense can’t score on its 1st few drives.. pre season, but it’s telling enough imo

Yeah, I'm turning this off. Fields was really never put in situations that he will see in the regular season so unless Dalton gets injured I don't see him playing this year.
