It's got to be Salisbury and Rosenbloom right?
With a close second being DiCaro and Hendricks?
Hamp and Holmes is on the list. Maybe we include webio, Chet and the Champ?

Hamp and Holmes was the worst.

The Rick Telander Show was pretty bad too.

The Bear and the Bull was a tough listen on a daily basis. Hampton was really bad which puts Hampton and Holmes up there. DiCaro and Hendricks was really bad but it was just a part time thing, not a full-time every day channel-switcher. The HUGE show was pretty bad. Salisbury was atrociously bad. The MIke North show with Anne Maxwell was flat-out awful too.

This unquestionably was the worst time period of any show ever on the Score, just terrible radio.

That was a completely unlistenable 4 or 5 months when we should have been talking mostly about football.

North with Maxwell was entertaining because it highlighted what an intellectual lightweight North really is.

I actually think Penn State talk on B & B permanently damaged my devotion to listening to the Score or any sports talk now that I look back on it. I think that was a turning point towards the pile of horseshit sports radio is today and I have never listened to the Score the same ever again.

Jiggetts and McNeil was pretty bad. Still pisses me off they broke up two great shows to make two mediocre ones.

yeah that was such a sad time.

mediocre is being nice.

I kinda like the bull and the bear.

I dont consider dicaro and hendricks as a real show, so I dont even count that, but it was clearly awful

I know I am in the minority here, but I enjoyed listening to Murph and Fred. When I listen to the pseudo-intellectuals they have on the schedule now I LONG for the simpler more entertaining days of Murph and Fred and the Monsters and the HFC. These current shows all give me a headache listening to the hosts monologue and preach to the listeners. I had high hopes for Parkins and he is the worst of them all. I thought sports radio was supposed to be fun.

As a long time guy feel the need to opine here, but any discussion of the station after the move from an independent entity to corporate ownership must acknowledge that you are really talking about two completely different stations.

The early days were kind of like a wild west of sports talk, plenty of stuff between callers and hosts, hosts and hosts, and most notably between team spokespeople and hosts that would never air today. That said, the Bull and the Bear featured two beloved hosts, but was a brutal listen at times. Did find the Telander show entertaining because of the palpable hatred between Hood and Telander. Do still have tchotchkes from being named Mike North Morning Show, "emailer of the show" (I know your happy for me), but the show went a long way toward destroying the vibe the station had during its early days by North forcing other shows to be broken up.

The latter days of the station cannot do much worse than Goff and Bernstein where the hosts seemed to actually hate the audience and actively told people to not listen, one of the oddest periods in the stations history where the station morphed from interactive sports talk to endless self aggrandizing rants regurgitating the twitter approved sports takes which resulted in the end of a radio career for one of the hosts and banishment to late mornings for the other.

The show is mediocre at best, but Leila's voice is starting to bring Bernstein and Rahimi into Hamp and Holmes territory

I didn't really care for Murph when he had a 4 hour show but found him to be kind of enjoyable when he was pared back to 2 hours. A little Murph goes a long way.

Similarly I considered Tom Shaer to be boring when he was solo (ie the very beginning of The Score) but was a fan of Shaer and Memelo.

The over-the-top reaction to the Vucevic trade is the only memorable thing that has come from that show. Very cringe-y.

It's funny because Murph irritated the hell out of me at the time but you're right. I'd take Murph going through his baseball cards on a lazy weekend afternoon a million times over SJW sports radio.
