The Browns have the best running back room in the NFL. Stopping the run will be difficult. I still don't believe in Mayfield and he just lost his best receiver. Will our defense be able to maintain their greatness for another week? Will Fields look better with a week of preparation? Will Nagy create a gameplan that gets Fields on the move? Will the offensive line play well again?

I agree, I agree, that is true, I hope so, he should, probably not, plausible...

Nagy wanted to shoot Daltons knee up with placenta and stem cells so he can start Sunday. Until I see that he is out I can't predict.

A game where we could really use Goldman to shut down the Browns running game and make Mayfield beat us with his arm. Another huge mismatch between the Bears oline and the Browns pass rush, but that will be the case all year long in every game the Bears play.

I think Nagy loves Fields. His eyes light up every time he mentions his name. Kinda like a proud father. I suspect Nagy will do everything he can to keep Fields on the field permanently.

Hopefully he builds a game plan around his strengths and puts him in a position to succeed then. Nagy didn't seem to be ready when Fields had to come in last Sunday.

Baker's been good since like the middle of last season. Gonna be a rough game for the Bears

Agree. And the Bears can't chase more than one score. They can keep it to a 5 or 7 point game, they will have a chance. If the Browns go up by 10 or more I just don't see them being able to come back.

The best thing Nagy could do for Fields is hand over play calling to his OC

Yeah.. I see the Bears giving up 190 yards on the ground and a few big play action plays downfield.

Browns 30
Bears 17

This is a Bears loss....not that the Browns are going to the super bowl, but they are miles deeper and better than the Beloved.

I think he will. They were completely unprepared. Not sure how you don't plan for a possible injury to your quarterback.

Browns will overlook Mario Edwards Jr.'s return. Him and Nichols are really good and together can create single-team opportunities for Mack and Quinn, which is the only way the linebackers two are ever going to contribute anything meaningful.

Roquan Smith is in the prime of his prime. So far this season he's been at a true All-Pro level. The guy has been overrated (though not bad by any means) most of his Bears career, but now he's really arrived. If the Browns want to work it over the middle to their tight ends they are tempting the strongest part of the Bears defense.

I think the Bears get a surprise road win here. Bears 24, Browns 20.

Baker is a rookie again? Sounds like a Deadspin game preview.

The Stains aren't better than the Rams. Mumbai Mel seems to have fixed some of the secondary issues. Bears sneak out a win

Mayfield sucks but is he going to throw 3 INT's? I'm guessing this will be a sloppy ass 13-10 game or something. Bears will stop the Browns running attack and the Bears offense will suck.... Again.

Mustipher really struggled last week, it was strange that for years all they talked about was how Daniels could be a Pro Bowl center, but that is all gone and they have handed the job to an undersized UDFA, why not bring in at least some competition? The Bears "experts" kept saying that the interior of the line would be fine, based on what, a couple of average guards and an inexperienced center? Would expect teams to continue to take advantage of the Bears lack of Oline talent all year long.

I've been Nagy's biggest critic around here. He had no use for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, but he loves Fields. I expect him to do everything possible to make Fields look good.

Nagy can't call plays but he called (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky correctly. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky if you noticed doesn't have a starting job this year.

I haven't seen much flexibility at all or the ability to call the game in front of him. I'm not sure that changes with his love of Fields but we shall see.

Nagy is inept, I don't think he's got a clue how to develope Fields or even put him in a good position to succeed.

Mitch, Anthony Miller, Wims, and Ridley all played for us last year in a playoff game....none of them have played a down this year, Wims and Ridley are not even in the league. Really embarrassing if you think about how bad this teams roster is and continues to be on offense, complete failure at the college and pro scouting levels, the lack of offensive player development under Nagy is remarkable.

It's the chicken and the egg thing here though - are the players just not good or is Nagy not good at developing players. If those guys aren't playing on other teams then that suggests Nagy didn't have anything to work with.

This doesn't absolve Nagy completely - the imagination he needs just isn't there.

Let's take a look at last years WR room, best player by far is Robinson a FA they had sign after whiffing on WR at the top of the draft, Wims and Ridley were draft picks that never improved and were so bad nobody has signed them, moved up to get Miller who could never learn how to run routes, so in essence they end up cutting bait on three draft picks including at 2nd and 4th rounders who never improved. Miller and Wims were so undisciplined that they cost the team repeatedly in games against the Saints, who was in charge of coaching up this group, it all falls on Nagy/Pace in the end.

The defense, which Nagy has nothing to do with, features a few guys that actually have improved, but that is likely because they learned under Fangio and Pagano, two guys that are obviously far better coaches than Nagy.

Fourth round busts are pretty common. I'm not gonna hold Riley Ridley up as some proof that the Bears cant draft. The Bears got more out of Javon Wims than most teams do out of their seventh rounders.

The Bears drafting has been fine. Most of the time its been pretty good. The issue with Pace is he has created a salary cap mess and his coach is really bad.
