Fields is in on Sunday.

Foles will be the backup.

Fields holds onto the ball longer than Dalton so we'll probably see a couple turnovers by the Browns defense.

Baker doesn't suck. He's off to a great start through two games, and played really well last year. The 3 game stretch in monsoon type weather affected his stats, but it's out of town stupid saying he sucks.

When it's a close game in the 4th quarter and he needs to make a play to win, he always chokes. He's not elite!

If you think the choices are elite or sucks you must think 28 of the 32 starting QBs suck. Interesting take.

I think Maker Bayfield is carving out a spot as a solid, second tier starting QB. Maybe like a future Tannehill or something - solid but unspectacular.

Justin Fields sounds like a killer. I hope he plays like he sounds.

Do you ever bet against the bears? I'm not crazy for that hook but 7.5 is tempting for a historically shitty offense in a road game and a rookie QB against a good Cleveland pass rush. I'll buy a point and put 500 on Cleveland. The Bear D ain't great against the run either.

Draftkings has it at -7 Cleveland but at -115. Betrivers is at -7 at -108. Looks like some idiot bear fans throwing money at the Bears because Fields is starting.

The defense appeared to be energized when Fields entered the game. I wonder if that carries over.

I expect the Browns to blitz a lot and use a lot of zone coverages to try to trick Fields. Hopefully he's able to recognize the coverage quicker than he did last week. According to Dan Orlovsky, Fields made all of the right reads on all but 3 plays (run and pass).

It’s probably worth noting that Orlovsky is basically Skip Bayless and everything he says should be ignored completely.

Skip Bayless, annoying as he may be, is a singular talent.

Dan Orlovsky is a guy who should be coaching JV football but failed upward into a talking head gig.

The whole team lit a fire under their ass when fields came in. We saw this with kyle orton and other qb's too. Players know whos better.

Will be interesting to see how Peters does against Garrett, if he holds up or is able to push Garrett upfield to open up run lanes it will give Fields an easy escape option when the Browns bring pressure up the middle which every team will do after watching Mustipher struggle last week.

Fields actually read the hot guy a few times, but Nagy is consistently late with the play calls which gives the QB very little time to make adjustments. Can only imagine how much the Manning brothers will rip Nagy's coaching when they get a Bears game.

Reading between the lines of what Nagy and the players are saying, Fields isn't ready. His timing with the receivers is off, he doesn't know the plays well and the game is too fast for him. I expect a lot of designed quarterback runs, a couple of shots down field and about 30 touches from Montgomery.

I noticed that also. I think that's real.

I feel like the team thinks "here we go" with him in like they are all part of the future.

I didn't see that last week. If those guys would catch a ball, he would have looked tremendous. He was putting throws on the money.

He probably holds the ball too long but that can be corrected soon. I assume it's a off-shoot of trying to be a passing QB over a running QB.

But, I've watched that dude, unfortunately, for 2 years hitting the edge as a runner in B10 games and he is FAST. It looks like he isn't running fast but his stride is so long he blows people away. I want to see that. He has the speed of an elite RB.

His internal clock appeared to be about a half second off at times, but I agree with you. If A-Rob catches that touchdown and if a couple of bad breaks went differently, we're having a different conversation about Fields. It sounds like practice hasn't been smooth this week though.

I think Nagy sucks.

The guy has shown what he is able to do. I get the sense Nagy wants him to do something else.

There was nothing wrong with what he did last week other than holding the ball too long with the fumble. A couple franchise players play like franchise players and maybe it gives the rookie more confidence.

The INT wasn't great but he immediately was able to explain the in the post-game what he did wrong. Dude is super-smart.

The mistakes he made were him trying to do too much. Let him play.

I don't give a shit what Nagy thinks. The guy is good.

who's going to be the best, Lamar Jackson or Fields?

Nagy does take a long time to get play calls in, but never forget, the GM is the first issue with this team.

Glad OBJ is playing, he usually makes Cleveland worse. Hopefully that doesn't come back and bite me.
