The course has been holding up. It’s been a lot of fun watching these guys having to deal with how difficult it can be in the various formats. US is in command but tomorrow will be very interesting. I think the course has been the star of the weekend

I thought that the layout would actually favor the Europeans, but it requires such precision into the swirling winds.

Both Bryson and Scheffler took turns coming through with big shots to pull their afternoon match out after a few holes of scuffling. Bryson being able to hit 8-iron on 17 while others were hitting 6 and either coming up short or yanking it offline down the cliff, that was impressive. He just threw it up over the front bunker and dared it to roll off the back edge. I'm not too sure about Bryson winning his match tomorrow against Sergio, because part of the fourball success seemed to be him taking risks in controlled situations, and having a partner who could pick him up enough times when it failed to work out. But if he knocks Sergio out, it's all over.

The only American guy who disappointed me was English - he was on the team in large part due to his putting, and he had some relatively poor putts in the afternoon session.
