If you wanted a pocket passer then why didn't you draft Jones? You went with the sports car and yet you are insisting on taking it mudding. If you want to go mudding get the truck. I'm still no fan of Fields but roll him out, run him outside, run him inside, use some play action and maybe even mix in a screen to counter the massive pass rush. I'm pretty sure on 2 of those sacks he could have taken his drop and immediately run forward for a gain.

Nagy seems to have so much shit in his toolbox that he has no idea what to use. Creativity and greatness generally thrives with limitations. Working within the parameters set by Reid probably benefited him greatly. Now that he can do whatever he wants he is just wandering aimlessly. Ask someone what they want to eat and they will probably say IDK. Give them a menu with 10 items and they will pick something.

While that is all quite true I really believe Nagys biggest problem is his ego. You can't manage the team as a whole while having your face stuck in your Dennys menu of offensive plays. He's not seeing the forest for the trees because he can't watch the goddamn game this way. And, while I'm no pro at spotting this, it looks like he's way too slow getting plays in.

Why is Nagy using the Dalton offense for Fields? This is absolutely criminal. As is the fact that Fields is so unprepared and had virtually no reps with the first team offense before this week.

Welp this has gone about as bad as it can go, but with some vintage lovie era "bend but don't break defense" they made it all the way til 30secs left in the 1H before capitulating on the TD. CLE with 200yds already. 17 first downs to 2 for the bears.

They're clearly not going to.let montgomery beat them, esoecially on first down where they're smashing us and setting up 3rd and long where you can literally watch fields remember his coaching to not take off and run all the time and they have 4 sacks accordingly.

So on first down i wanna see justin moving around to throw for 4-8yds and set up 2nd and short/med so maybe you can open up the playbook and try stuff downfield. Suffice to day when your QB is 1/1 11yds with 5:37 left in the 2nd (and like 2/3 29yds or something @ HT) you cant blame him as much as the playcalling. They clearly have figured out your "montgomery gets us 5+ on 1st down then qe have options" offense so we really need to.ne dynamic and creative on 1st down, esp with the bears o-line finally being who we thought they were in the first half.

He’s their best player on D and it’s really not that close. Can’t focus on a couple of less than stellar plays in a single game. He will be the only member who make the Pro Bowl that deserves it.

He even was quoted on the broadcast that he had to make sure he reprogrammed himself to call the game for the QB kn the field. He is incapable of adjusting.

If you're going to make adjustments this half your have to run bootlegs and RPO. If you don't see that then you know Nagy is perfectly fine with the game plan that got him 2 firsts and 4 sacks.
