Yeah, no kidding.

Of course the players like Nagy. He doesn't hold them accountable for anything and they have a dance party if they win.

He's their friend, not their boss.

There was no game plan dude. It was the Dalton book.
Honestly I thought Bernstein was an asshole for saying that Nagy called it scheme when asked who was starting. I thought that meant Nagy, rightfully, was going to change the book depending on who started and thus asking who's starting was by extention a question of scheme. But it wasnt. Nagy ran what he wanted to run regardless of personnel.

True. WFR asked if Nagy would adjust last week, and I thought there was no chance that he would be so stubborn with HIS guy. Clearly I was dead wrong.

I hated being pessimistic in that thread but it wasn’t a stretch to think he would call the same game as always.

You have to go to Foles IF Fields is this unprepared. You can't ruin the kid.

The same was said about Lovie, but not losing the locker room generally gives you a chance to be competitive.

This is what it looks like when you whiff on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and chase. All the money chasing that could have built an O line for instance.

I don't think it's wrong to torch Nagy for his stubbornness, but Fields was still awful. That shouldn't be overlooked.

Correct.

I don’t know enough about play calling to criticize a guy. But bad play is bad play. Nothing I saw today would’ve been corrected had only Andy Reid been making the calls.

Bad QB play is the only thing consistent about the Nagy offense. He just needs Mahomes and surely it will work!

Even Trestman was a players’ coach. Lamar Houston blew out his knee celebrating a meaningless sack late in a blowout, and Trestman refused to say he was disappointed in him.

Orlovsky is a moron. If you think Nagy sucks, fine, but throwing a conspiracy theory out there is just retarded

That photo is after he scored a touchdown in Week 1.

Lovie was a real fuckin football coach though. He's miles ahead of Nagy. Smith had his flaws. His commitment to that goddamn Tampa 2 when he didn't have the personnel for it was maddening, but he delegated well and didn't interfere in his coaches play calling. I'd just about do anything doe Smith over Nagy.

Lovie gets a bit of a bad rap I think because he was kind of short and curt with the media. I can't really blame him for that though. He definitely wasn't perfect, but he is Miles Ahead of Nagy. He's the third-best coach in the franchise history behind Halas and Ditka. No doubt about it. I would take 10 more years with Lovie over one more game with Nagy.

Nagy seems like a relatively normal and likable guy. He is just really really bad at his job.

Yes

It still amazes me Mike Mulligan isn’t hated more than he is because of his constant shitting on Lovie Smith during his Bears tenure.

All because Lovie didn’t give them a lot of material to write about, and they had to work a little harder to come up with a story.

Lovie was good enough coach that when he got fired, grown men on the team fucking cried.

Lovie, with a good offensive coordinator. Yes, would take him back in a heartbeat.

He hasn't lost the locker room because he kisses their asses. Would a guy like Ariens let Jackson's half ass dogshit effort fly? Even Mack would probably get a verbal boot up his ass for some of his effort in the last few years. Has Nagy every taken anyone to task?

Just watched the game this morning. Felt bad for the defense, they hung in there for a while but when you are on the field for 40 minutes you are going to eventually run out of gas.
Was nice to see them get to the quarterback for once. Offensive was pathetic all around. Should be an interesting week to listen to sports radio as they beat a dead horse. Getting
pretty clear that Nagy is not the voice these guys need to be hearing.

Correct.

Nothing I saw today would’ve been corrected had only Andy Reid been making the calls.

Yet it looked totally different last year for several games after Lazar took play calling duties -and I hope you don’t think Lazar has anything on Reid

Nagy is the problem, it’s maddening some of you still can’t see it. This looks the same no matter who the hell is out there.. but he hands it over towards the end of the year last year for just a couple of games and almost everything looks different and you guys still come in with these comments?

lol ok

I think we saw today what Dalton would have looked like in this game.
