Can't fucking wait.

I think he dies. Too bad. Daniel Craig's run of films is the best since Connery.

I was a Roger Moore guy because that's who Bond was as a kid but there are some real duds in there.

I loved Remington Steele but Brosnan never got a decent script after Goldeneye. He could have been great.

I think they are going to do a remake of On Her Majesty's Secret Service on this film but Bond dies.

Then, they will reboot the series with young Bond again. Probably that guy...from that show...you know the one...the one everyone is talking about.

Hiddleston would have been good but he's too old. Idris would have been great but also too old. Cavill would be pretty good.

It will be that Rege guy from the bodice-ripping show. I don't know anything about him but he was decent on SNL.

I've also liked how they reinvented all the ancillary characters like M, Q, Moneypenny and Felix. All good transitions. Mallory is great as well but I expect that from Fiennes.

I could see the new Bond being that handsome guy of Hong Kong descent who seems to be in everything these days. He was in that Crazy Rich Asians movie. Even has a Jewish sounding name to make it big in Hollywood

Gooding? Something like that?

Yeah, he'd be good too. I think they will step back from the physicality / Bourne-like action. I don't know if that guy can do action but I imagine he could. Hollywood magic.

Agreed on Fiennes. I think they keep him like they kept Dench. Moneypenny is great. I like all of them as well.

He did OK with action and intimidation as Dry Eye in The Gentleman. Not the same level of Bond action

Agreed on all the side characters...perfect. Would love to see Cavill as the next Bond.

The Daniel Craig movies were Bourne-like, but still...very very good. I'm a sucker for Bond movies, so will definitely watch this.

If you love James Bond, I highly recommend the James Bonding podcast with Matt Mira and Matt Gourley.

It's mostly behind the Stitcher paywall now but they've done full commentaries on each movie at least twice. Easily 200-300 hours of very funny content from guys that love, LOVE, the series.

Matt Gourley is a very funny improv comedian with a number of great podcasts.

You could subscribe for a month or two and listen to nothing but Bond. I may start again from the beginning.

I highly doubt it will top Casino Royale.

I guess will shall see. I though Skyfall was overrated, and Spectre was just blah.

My dad is a nut for Bond. It opens on his birthday. My parents haven't been to the theater in 18 months but my mom is taking him to the early show.

I thought Skyfall was good. The ending dragged a bit.

Spectre was a disappointment. I don't think it's bad. It just didn't take advantage of a great cast.

For Craig, I'd rate them -

Casino Royale
Skyfall
Spectre
Quantum

I have hopes for this one.

Skyfall had a great song. I liked Quantum more. I would say Casino, Quantum, Skyfall and Spectre. Although after Casino they are all about the same.

Connery- From Russia With Love (Thunderball isn't as tight but such a fun watch.)

Moore- Spy Who Loved Me

Dalton- License to Kill

Bronson- World is Not Enough (To me they are also all about the same. Don't re-watch any of them. Die Another Day is particularly bad though.

And On Her Majesty's Secret Service might be the best one of all of them. Such a Bond plot. Tracy was a great character, and the fight scenes were great and ahead of their time.

If it's close to the quality of Casino Royale, I'll be happy. The key to that movie was the emotional connection between Bond and Vesper.

Craig is the best Bond since Sean, with Bosnan a close second. But you're right, Dr. Ken, he never had a decent script.

Brosnan was terrible. He had no screen presence. Even the late great Gene Siskel agrees on that.

I think this will be the first movie I'll see in the Theaters in 5 years.

I also like Craig. It seems like he's just getting into the role big time. Too bad he's being asked to quit.

I liked Skyfall a lot. I think this movie will be great.

Timothy Dalton was the best bond since Connery. But now I have to rethink because Craig has been terrific. He's been sort of a mix of Connery/Moore/Dalton.

He’s prime bond now. He should do another 3 movies.

Well, you might be in for a treat…or a cry.

Because I think this movie is going to be Part 2 of that reboot.

Well, you and Gene are 100% wrong. Goldeneye was a fantastic Bond movie.

He never got anything good after that. Invisible cars? Come on.

He was a better Bond as Remington Steele than the Bond scripts he got.

2 hrs : 43 minutes. Yikes.

Also some speculation that Malek might be Dr. No given the title.

I still think it’s OHMSS.

I haven't seen the franchise since the first Craig movie, which I didn't quite care for. I didn't need the franchise to move towards more spectacle, but I grew up with the Moore movies and then catching up with the Connery ones in college.

But OHMSS is my favorite Bond movie, followed by From Russia with Love and Goldfinger. It's the perfect script for it's technological era, and somehow Lazenby's bored approach and the knowledge that he and Diana Rigg hated each other makes it wonderful.

If he got the role when he was doing Remington Steele he would have been great. He was younger and full of energy. Too bad nbc screwed him.

Never liked goldeneye. Still don’t. It was written for Dalton and Brosnan tried his best to do dalton but nobody can do dalton but only dalton. It was comical in goldeneye this skinny dude trying to act tuff. Never bought it.

Twist of fate at least we hit 2 movies out of dalton. The real James Bond.

Did you know after Connery they offered the role to Dalton but he turned it down in late 60s.

Lazenbys assholeness comes across very strong in ohmss. That’s why I never liked it. And his voice being dubbed for part of the movie was real low quality.

Goldeneye was the best Brosnan movie, probably in my top 10 of all time Bond movies.
