If Bears get new stadium I'm sure it will be one with a retractable roof

How would you feel watching Bears games be played inside a dome instead of true football weather?

Bear weather never existed.

The only people that will really be upset are the same shit for brains "Grabowski's" that tend to lead every terrible Chicago parody.

Bring on the dome

Yep, the suburbs will host a Super Bowl and probably multiple Final Fours

If you really think about it, this is tailor made for a deal with Metra to offer parking at the train stops along that line (Des Plaines, Mt Prospect, Downtown AH, Palatine, Barrington, Crystal Lake, etc) for a drop off at Arlington Park. Train drinking is the new tailgating.

Big Ten football championship will probably move here. Anything that currently plays in Indianapolis should be in play.

Jefferson Park will be the main gathering place. It would be great if it built up appropriately. The Gale Street Inn is going to make a killing on Sundays. That place is tailor made for Bears pre and post crowd and is steps from the train doors.

It's been so long since I've been to that stop, but you're spot on.

I didn't love sitting in - degree weather. I did, however, enjoy sitting in 30-40 degree weather. There is something right about it.

I hope the roof will be retractable and I wouldn't mind if it were opened every Sunday.

I think we lose part of our legacy as fans. I'm going to puke while writing this but GB has it correct.

Interesting ideas considering the Union Pacific (who took over the CNW Train lines) won the right to end commuter services on all three lines (including the Harvard Sub which is the UP-NW line).

Something like the Vikings stadium but better. Screw Bears weather. Nobody wants to freeze their ass off in the winters. People want to be comfortable these days.

Hawger and I will welcome any of you with open arms that is ready to root for a real football team instead of some knock off Arena League version of one.

I do hope we work through these pandemic-related staffing problems by then.
