It will be funny when Chicago lures the Jaguars and the Bears say "Hey, why not just play in our stadium like the Chargers are with the Rams?".

  Only the Chargers are dumb enough to do that

The Spanos family is almost is dysfunctional as the McCaskeys....just a smaller block of years. The siblings there are feuding and suing each other to force the sale of the Chargers....that is...after Dean Spanos completely railroaded himself out of getting a stadium

Never underestimate the ability of the Jaguars to mess things up.

I'd expect nothing less. Would drive value up of franchise when they sell to basically have a no compete clause in place.

I would think that would go away if the Bears broke their contract, right?

I would guess it's an NFL rule. The Bears probably control a certain radius from Chicago. It's not like the Jaguars can just decide they want to move to Boston or New York either.

I think the Cardinals are still chartered as a chicago nfl franchise...although the bidwell's were in deep with arlington park as well

NFL no compete. Nothing to do with the City. Protecting a market.

but I think that is limited to the NFC

Zero chance that an NFL franchise would choose to move to Soldier Field. That's simply crazy talk.

A team value increases by a minimum of a billion dollars the moment if moves from Jacksonville to Chicago. The stadium is penny ante considerations

Could be. Could also be they won't do that to a charter franchise as long as Virginia is alive which is probably moot as none of this is going on in her lifetime anyways. I think they've probably talked about a second team in Chicago since a year or two after the Cardinals left for St. Louis. I'm not sure how easy it would be to drop a team into an established market but it's the NFL and all that goes along with it.

Jaguars are not leaving FL for this shitty state. You get what you vote for and the city suffers.

Gotta love how the voters doubled down on Kim Foxx. Watch Lightfoot get another term as well even though she has been a complete disaster

take a look the top 10 nfl franchise values. I'm sure you'll notice something common to them and the political affiliations of where they are located.
