Lou’s for stuffed pie.

Shoutout to Boni Vino, which has been in the same location on Van Buren since I started working downtown in the late '80s. Just polished off an individual cheese and sausage thin crust. Delicious.

i had a Geno's East 'tavern style' frozen pizza last night and it is up there with the worst pizza i've ever had. Had to eat something since it was my dinner but i threw half of it out.

the crust was 'high school cafeteria style', not 'tavern' . Even the cheese sucked.

I'm pretty sure that's the place where Furious Styles, sinicalypse, my business partner Joe, and I did shots after MCNUGGETS 80. I remember Joe and I dancing like lunatics and a bunch of women getting a big kick out of us. Then we shot Maker's Mark.

Their tavern style is trash.

Geno’s East frozen pizza is really bland. I’d take Jack’s over it.

Connie’s is surprisingly flavorful and has the cornmeal dusted crust. But home run inn is still my top pick for frozen.

Eating Vito and Nick's right now. Fan-freaking-tastic.

This is available at our Albertson's and Safeway. The edges seem to burn quick and stick to the pan when you take it out. Real pain in the ass.

The original valley's Rosati's is still going in Tempe despite an ownership change (the previous owner owned many in AZ) a few years back. Spinato's/Aurelio's is abundant and a great choice. But a place called Vero Chicago Pizza is #1 for me. Same owners as Buddyz. They've opened up quite a few Malnati's around here since the first one in Phoenix back in '15 or '16, but there's still not a close enough one to get to.

We always said Vito and Nick's. I know your mom or dad is from the neighborhood, but I never figured out what distinguished the "Vito and Nick's" and the "Nick and Vito's" crowds. I remember saying "Nick and Vito's" once and my dad called me a Caller Bob. My dad also said that the Polish people called it "Nick and Vito's," but that wasn't always true. Maybe there's an isogloss somewhere I missed.

Still always better in house. We need to have a meetup there.

I've always called it Barnabiys

I love their pizza, but I feel that place has become too much of a hipster destination. When I was a kid, it was just one of many Soutwest Side pizza places: Palermo's, Fox's, Barraco's (although my family wasn't into that place so much), etc.
