It is what it is, small or not. My thought is it's nice to have a great stuff guy like Cease at #3 no matter what the stats are. As long as he stays away from letting hitters back into the count, I love his chances.

Mendick can play five positions, where a guy like Goodwin is limited to two and Lamb can only play corners. Obviously I'd rather have Goodwin or Lamb in a pinch hit situation but Mendick in a defensive or pinch running.
