There’s one way it sort of makes sense - if you are conceding that neither Lynn nor Giolito will not beat McCullers in Houston in game 1. You roll the dice that Cease will have one of those games where he is unhittable and they steal a game or they lose and you’re lined up with Giolito in game 2 & Lynn and Rodon at home. Giolito gets game 5 if it goes back to Houston.
