Forecast makes it look almost impossible to get this game in today. Hopefully it changes in the next few hours

Even Cusack's supposed Sox knowledge is fake. Squires was not the 1B that season. He was a platoon guy with 180 plate appearances. Wimpy was the 1B on the 1983 team.

Cusack should be banished from all Chicago stadiums/arenas until he picks a team and sticks with it.

Does this impact game 5 or just takes away a travel day?

Not sure. I just heard 1:07 tomorrow. Could be bullshit but a lot of people are saying it. Another guy just said the Astros are on the field throwing it around.

I think it is real, I see several on twitter saying it is moved to tomorrow.

White Sox Twitter feed says the same thing.

Do they still start Rodon tomorrow? Or do you move to Lynn?

You start Rodon but have Lynn ready to take the ball if he gets into trouble

Agree. Giolito in game 5, hopefully.

Glad they called it early.

I hope the Astros don't move up Mc Cullers

Yes but it is what it is. Id rather this than drive down there and they burn Rodon for 2 innings.

They will, but I would rather face him at home than in a game 5 in Houston.

Yeah I am curious what they do as well. I would think they would want him going in game 5 at home. But I guess it depends on their confidence in the other guy

Its Dusty. He'll use McCullers for game 5.

Frank, clearly you had a role in their winning last night. You have to get your schedule adjusted and get there tomorrow. The team needs you, no excuses

Dude, at least ask your boss if there is any way it can be worked out?

Rodon for 3, Lynn for 4, then Hendricks for 2 if it's close. They owe it to Rodon to give him the chance to prove that he's healthy enough for a nice 4-year deal from someone in the offseason.

That leaves them almost their whole bullpen for Game 5. Giolito, Lopez, Kopech, Tepera, Kimbrel. Bummer can slot in for wherever the 2-out crisis is with a tough lefty on both days, and Cease is there if it gets to the 11th.

I also like how it's set up. We'll know early about Rodon and have options with the extra day. I like that Baker doesn't have the balls to start McCullers and will save him for Sketchy Stadium down there in Cheaterville.

If it were me, I'd think Mc Cullers, at home in a game 5 is a firewall for winning this series.

Sox are good at home and may be able to scratch out a win against him. If that happens, my goodness is that a confidence booster for the Sox heading into a Game 5.

Yep, Sox have to beat him one way or another so let's do it in a more favorable environment and ride Giolito against a lesser starter in Game 5.

That is how I would see it as well. They are still in the drivers seat, no need to adjust plans. McCullers in game 5 is their best option.
