I do not recall dollars being part of his board persona. He grew up in a rural area and tended to lean right. I do not know if he fell into the Trumpette camp though. I seem to recall him being more Dman and FF in political discussions.

He became an alcoholic and a hardcore Trump supporter at right around the same time.

Previously he was quite Libertarian. Trump really split up us Republicans…..

He was a Bernie guy in the 2016 primary but then felt that someone was taking His Freedoms or making America unrecognizable or something, and fell in love with Donald Trump.

Actually... I did. Well, it ended slightly after midnight so maybe you call that today.
Do you ever make a post that isn't dumber than the previous post? What a moronic attempt at a zinger. I'm married 15 years to a woman I love and who loves me. You went with the I don't get sex gimmick? Just too dumb.

Thou doth protest too much.

I guess you don't make a post that isn't dumber than the previous post.
I cant wait to see how far this goes. Its like the last act of Flowers for Algernon.

ROFL. I often forget how well read you are. Hahahaha.

Not sure why it’s important now but Leash did admit to garage storm watching and being hospitalized for alcoholism. Near death even.

I wasn't saying there was any causality. I will say now, however, that if there were, it would be really funny.

Moss did a lot/was rumored to have done a lot of messed up chit during his football career, both on and off the field.

Examples:

- Told Minnesota Vikings fans he wanted the team moved to Dallas with their prick owner of the time after that fan base embraced him despite his prickish nature

- Squirted a ref he disagreed with with a water bottle once

- Walked off the field before the final play of a game his team (the Vikings) needed to win to secure a potential playoff spot when he would have probably been the main option for a hail Mary pass

- Intentionally bumped his car into a cop directing traffic because he was annoyed

- Put minimal effort in on about 50%+ of plays he wasn't specifically a main option for. Could have helped his teams so much more if he didn't have a habit of making it obvious to defenses that they weren't passing it to him.

- Ran his way off 4 teams (Vikings x2, Oakland Raiders [though I don't blame him for that one], Patriots) by being an immature locker room cancer and idiot when talking to the media

- Freaked out on a local food catering person the Vikings hired to deliver food to the team in 2010, swearing at them and telling them he wouldn't feed his dog that chit, or something along those lines. Not sure if you could find a source on this one to this day, but I definitely remember hearing about it and stunts like that contributing to his being canned by the Vikings that year.

Those are just a few examples. There are countless other prick things he was known to do during his career. But yeah, let's listen to Randy Moss, multi-millionaire because he hit the genetic lottery of athletcism/football talent, fake cry about how hard his life is because he heard about a dumb joke some guy said about another guy 10 years ago and took it way out of context to label it as racist.

He never leaned right. He was penpals with Chomsky when he was in college for God's sake. At some point you're going to need to reckon with the fact that "the Left" is no longer left-wing at all and in fact has become completely fascist and authoritarian rather than reflexively endorsing the so-called Left.

Leash and I butted heads when he was to the far left of me and we butted heads when he moved to the far right of me. We always managed to get cool after every incident. The same thing happened before he left. Even though I think I took a break first and he stopped posting by the time I returned.

The 2018 and 2019 version of Leash could definitely have a great debate with the Leash from 2017 and earlier. Both versions were very sure of themselves. I wouldn't blame his evolution on substance abuse. His dramatic shift happened to a lot of people around the same time. JORR was the earliest to transition. He transitioned in late 2015. The psychological effects of Trumpetism will be studied for centuries. Seems like some government experiment.

I haven't transitioned at all. I've always been against fascist authoritarianism and the overarching security state. I still am. Just because Trump is a guy I disliked and didn't vote for doesn't mean I want to destroy the half of the country who elected him. And when you compare Trump to what's happening now no one in his right mind could possibly choose what's happening now.

People get older and go from Democrat to Republican. It's been that way for decades. You start to worry about your retirement fund and you also get mad at the 20 somethings pushing for similarly dumb ideas that previous generations wanted.

That's the interesting part of the Bernie-Trump supporters. Bernie was a reflection of what they were 20 years ago. Trump is a reflection of what they are now. So, it was pretty easy to say "Bernie has some good ideas, but he lost, so now I'll support him or at least dislike the other Democrats more".

Now, I'm now going to be told how wrong I was, but there won't be an explanation as to why Bernie was cool but AOC isn't. They're politically roughly the same even down to the hypocrisy of how they live and what they want.

I get that there is generally a gradual shift to the right for most people as we get older. It doesn't usually happen overnight. There was a certain type of person who was greatly impacted by Trumpetism. That can't be denied. I'm confident that you've seen it in your family and friendships.
