KAT doesn't have killer in him. He's a more talented Eddy Curry.

I think the Lakers will have something to say. Especially when buyout season starts.

It's going to be tough for the Lakers this season. Lebron and Westbrook are a terrible fit. 2 guys that like to pound the rock and no way will they ever be able to pigeonhole Westbrook into a catch and shoot role either. Even if he accepts the role he'd be terrible at it.

In addition don't know where the 3rd scorer comes from.and with so many older players the defense will be shitty. There will also be a slew of injuries.

Stick a fork in the Lakers. They're done.

Yeah its over. Finally. Their 2 stars played great and the Warriors lone star played terribly and they still lost.

You don’t know where the 3rd scorer comes from? They’ve got 3 of the leagues best scorers, are you forgetting AD

Damn, when did SB Nation get so feisty? Putting the graphic over Wesbrook is hilariously savage.

no, they'll be reserved for a different list. The *asterisk champions.

You have the ultimate asterisk champs, the *bubble Lakers. But right behind them is the Bucks who needed game 7 to get past a Nets team that didn't have Kyrie or a Harden who wasn't completely crippled. And after that they only got past Atlanta cause a stupid ref stuck his foot where Trae was landing causing him to suffer a bad sprain that had him out most of the series.

*

You can call it whatever you want, I and the NBA call them Champions.

Big 3? Melo had a whopping 9 of those points. LTG must be writing for SB Nation now.

Someone may need to inform Caller Bob as to the intent of this.

Historically 3rd scorers that have played with Lebron have to check the scoring aspect of their game at the door. See Chris Bosh and Kevin Love. I expect Westbrook's numbers to go down tremendously as there simply isn't enough ball to go around.

naw, knowing what he was talking about would completely eliminate the purpose of 99% of his posts.

Let me make sure I have this straight:

1. A team needs 3 scorers to win a championship.
2. There's not enough balls to go around for 3 scorers on a team led by LeBron.

Conclusion: No team with LeBron can win a championship.
Interesting. Time will tell if that's correct

The ability of a 37 year old Lebron to dominate the ball and the game is a helluva lot different than the 27 year old Lebron. They are cooked

Seems like a fair point re: third option too. Who’s the Love/Bosh on that roster?

Melo is old; Russ isn’t suited for an off-ball shooter role. I wouldn’t say they’re cooked but assuming AD gets hurt as always, there are some holes there.

The only thing that might save them is that the West has been weakened. They have a chance to get out with that being the case. Not sold on any of the teams in that conf.
