The more I think about this the more I think Baldwin might be at fault. When I first heard about this I thought it was an actor. But it's someone he ABSOLUTELY should not have been pointing a gun at.

I think it's really dumb that the nation is talking about this only because Alec Baldwin is famous. If this were an unknown actor or stuntman or whatever it wouldn't register at all.

That being said, you don't necessarily point the gun at your target in a movie. Sometimes you deliberately point away because there is explosive material in the prop. Obviously that material isn't supposed to be lethal. And the thing about pointing away from the target wouldn't be clearly visible in the final cut.
