Really need to get at least one of the rookie tackles healthy enough to play in the second half of the year to see if they can actually play, it was nice not go the the obligatory Ifedi false starts last week, and the fact that you never hear Peters name speaks volumes about how well he has played, hopefully he can stay healthy. Really need to upgrade the C position next year.

Most of us though the offensive line would be the primary reason for the offensive struggles. I don't think it's unreasonable to acknowledge that they've been better than we thought. Fishing shape Jason Peters has been better than Charles Leno ever was. That has stabilized the offensive line. Like you, I would love for them to be great.

The kool-aid is great!

I thought the Peters signing was going to be a disaster, the guy has been pretty damn good.

My ""Fields stinks. Time to clean house" thread should get some views though lol. I might actually watch the game too. Last week I was in a Robert Smith kind of mood.

Did the mood end on Friday?

Hicks is officially out, Mack is not close to 100 percent, Quinn might not play. Time to pound Tampa at -11.5.

Remember Bernstein droning on and on after Nagy was hired about how Nagy's offense didn't really need a quality LT to succeed, amazing considering the value every other team places on that position. Peters play speaks volumes because even at though he is maybe 70% of what he was in his prime he is still far superior to anything Pace/Nagy have trotted out there, these guys are completely inept at drafting offensive talent, even the second round picks Whitehair and Daniels are replacement level at best.
