He knew what he was getting into. He posted earlier in the week that he didn't think the Bears could even keep the game close.

You know GD was full on meatball prior to kickoff though yesterday.

1. You can't play action every play.

2. (In Nagy's offense) Pre-snap it's too easy to decipher run or pass.

I know this isn't the proper place for this, but the Buc's "gifts" just don't seem commensurate to what the guy gave up. So it reminded me of this story. Hershiser obviously comes off like a swell guy here.

Like I said yesterday, dumbest guy in the stadium for giving that ball back.

"Hi, here is a $1000 gift card to our team store. Where should we send you the 1099 for our gift?"

Dumber then Matt Nagy.

should've gathered up his crew and booked it from the stadium right after catching that ball, watch the rest of the game from his couch with his million down ball locked safely away.

And to the Jack Daniels distillery, sure.

Just not sure he belongs on that QB list.

OB & Hamp are hands off critiquing Fields in their abrasive style. They launched vicious attacks on Mitch most every game he played, good or bad

Mitch was a bit of a dope, as evidenced by the fact that usually played well only in situations where thinking was not at a premium.

Fields may not be good, at least not yet and maybe forever, but he doesn't seem like a dope. If anything, he probably has a chance to eek out a Ryan Fitzpatrick type of career once he gets some more experience.

To be fair to Fields, out of the gate he can make more throws than Mitch could during his time here, specifically those touch throws that need to sail over linebackers but come down in front of the safeties/corners. The only time I've ever seen Mitch be able to make those throws consistently was when he was lighting up the Bears in the preseason, but Fields has demonstrated an ability to throw the ball with accuracy and power, but also the touch that Mitch lacked early on.

Fields has been less accurate over the past 2 weeks.

the guy who got the ball was on with waddle & Silvy this afternoon. He is in the process of receiving a Brady signed helmet, another game used ball, a signed Brady jersey for himself and his friend who is the season ticket holder season tickets for this year and next year, and Mike Evans is going to sign cleats that he wore.

Not a bad haul.

Less than $500k, but if I heard correctly, he isn't pressed for cash.

Yes, and he has actual mechanics that are a pre-requisite to being an NFL QB.

Mechanics that Mitch was never able to exhibit, but hopefully is picking up now in Buffalo.

I get it. If I caught Eloy Jimenez 500th home run ball, I wouldn't be looking for cash. A bunch of tickets and some autographs would be great. If it was a team I didn't root for or didn't care about, I'd hold out for every penny I could.

You bet I did. I broke into a "Green Bay Sucks" chant walking up the ramp and it was joined with gusto by Bucs fans, who seem to also hate them. They had a DJ playing out in front before the game. Some chump was sporting pea soup and bile colors and he grabbed the mic to abuse the guy.

I had one of the best weekends of my life. I went with and met up with some of my longest term friends, some who have moved and rarely get to see. We went to the beach, boated, fished, went for some big meals and the game. Good times with good people and I am really glad I went to Tampa rather than Vegas. The vibe would have been completely different.

Bucs stadium is great and really should get mentioned with the very best of pre game atmospheres in the NFL. People are welcoming and it is really a big party with the adjoining residential neighborhood. Highly recommended.

I was under no delusions, especially after hearing the Hicks and Quinn news. No way they were stopping Brady without a full pass rush. I was disappointed in Fields. Someone needs to tell him this ain't the Big 10. Big guys are fast in the NFL. Someone needs to tell Nagy that it perfectly OK to be a running team that plays good to great defense.

Nothing but good memories from this weekend
