Make Nagy fire him, and if he refuses send them both packing.

It would be nice if they had some top-100 defensive backs. Instead they have Nick Foles on the bench.

And Jimmy Graham.. according to articles I read prior to the season the Bears would still have Kyle Fuller if they let go of Graham

Pace has a really long list of failures that he should be fired for at this point. It’s undeniable

As for Desai -I’m not overly impressed with him but he’s in an impossible situation. Aging talent, talent that was allowed to walk in the off-season (Fuller) and a complete idiot at HC that can’t put together a competent offense.

Desai has never even been within 2 steps of being groomed for play calling as a coordinator before Bears brass fucked up and retained the lame duck GM and HC so no real DC would ever take the job. They then denied allowing Desai to leave and take a position in Denver with Fangio this offseason leaving him no choice but to accept the position no one else wanted.

So, while I don’t think Desai is really good at his current job, I’m not going to blame him for this shit. It was shit he was handed. He’s doing the best he can under the circumstances

Pace, Nagy, and the McCaskeys are why this team sucks out loud

He was like the fifth option, nobody wanted the job because they knew Pace/Nagy would be gone.

Also cringed when watching the replay of the play where the Niners noticed the OLB was dropping to cover the back, they simply tossed a short pass to the back, there was no defensive player within 5 yards of him and he rambled 15-20 yards untouched, Gipson looked completely clueless in coverage, Niners simply identified a weakness in the scheme and exploited a marginal NFL player.

When you play dumb, uninspired football defensively your gonna get your ass handed to you and that is exactly what happened.

It was criminal to start the season with Vildor as a starting CB and Shelley at nickel. It was proven to be an issue from opening day and has been an issue every game since then. The pass rush has been so good at times that it covers the DB.

I have never seen a bigger group of gutless tacklers in the secondary.

Trevathan has been bad for two years. You can see what the league thinks of him as he is a target for offensive coordinators.
