Florio was on one day, and he brings his politics in as well. They have Daniel Snyder teed up as their next target for cancelling. “Congress needs to act!” Really? I’d like Congress to concern themselves with competing with China, supply chain issues, etc. The WFT’s cheerleader scandal should be pretty far down their list.

I get it, but the NFL is a multi-billion dollar business with an antitrust exemption. Congress asking them questions is kind of what they do.

I could have worded this better—two separate issues:

1. Dan/Florio getting very excited over another sex scandal.
2. Dan Snyder being a douchebag.

I was trying to point out that Dan and Florio are WAY more interested/excited about politics and sex scandals within sports than the actual sports themselves. And Florio being a liberal ex-lawyer just gives Dan a chubby.

They're just not entertaining as sports personalities or interesting as people. Unless Leila chooses to leave, I don't think the Score is making any changes. But, I also didn't think McKnight was going anywhere and they let him go.

I think McDoink was much more technically sound as a radio host than Leila is, and had the requisite sound to be on the radio (Leila might, I don't know, but some engineer somewhere needs to find out how to make a female sound present in the mix of a sports broadcast using their natural register). Thing is, Connor's personality began and ended with "what if Dan Bernstein was born 15 years later and didn't attend as prestigious a school?" Which kinda sucks in general, but really sucks when paired with the genuine article. Leila at least seems to have a distinct personality that's all her own, and maybe it's one that is a little more light-hearted and fun, but that also doesn't work with the hateful curmudgeon Bernstein has aged into.

for sure halloween 2021 isn't the same as halloween 1975 for 8-16 y/o kids. i remember the tom naples fruit market on north ave. was big for us and other neighborhood kids. bits of americana i identify with that don't exist anymore. gangs back then, but not the amount of guns, drive-bys...sidewalks keep getting barer and barer in the city every halloween.

Has Danny boy did his "REAL IMPORTANT RADIO BIT" yet. Something 11 years old now and already forgotten by most Hawk fans. Everyone acknowledges it wasn't good but the players were most likely told mgmt would handle it and put it in the back of their minds from their on out. I personally hope they rip off 10 straight wins in November just to enrage Dicaro and Bernstein

Yesterday, the Tribune ran a story about woman in radio, with a bunch citing hassles and lack of opportunities, and then there was/is the whole Mix, Eric Ferguson thing. How come Dan B's not commenting on this. Doesn't he have an obligation to call out Eric Ferguson. and Jimmy DeCastro? Doesn't he know what happened form ex-scorehand, Brian Paruch? How can he be silent while these woman were viciously hassled? Isn't the whole culture of radio to blame. .

And to be slightly more serious, ask Dan to actually comment on these things or say what he knows. He'd hem and haw and legal this and cannot comment that. Right? Maybe put some other people's commments in context?

Danny B’s ‘big boobs’ comment created a chilling effect for the future-is-female crowd. Nobody talks about that.

The issue is that the NFL had protocols in place for unvaccinated players, and other teams followed them. Rodgers/Packers did not.

Its not about agreeing with the rules or attending a party being a big deal or not. The league set the rules about how many players can gather outside of the team facilities, masks, travel, etc....and that's that. Rodgers should have been wearing a mask like every other unvaccinated player. Period.

Rodgers knew what the rules were going in and he had three choices; follow the rules, get vaccinated, or opt out for 2021. He went Brewster and chose none of the above because, as Reader said, he's a selfish dumbfuck.

Rodgers is a filthy liar and should be banned for 2 years.

Maybe 3.

One year per unmasked game seems reasonable.

Apparently unvaccinated players are not allowed to travel on the team charter. Assuming he did, I wonder how that will be explained.

 Crazy. I can't imagine Rodgers being the only unvaccinated player/coach who traveled on an NFL team charter this year.

i don't agree with dan's take about fields...he'll always be undersized.

but they had me laughing when they talked about marsh's flying kick and the 1984 all-valley karate semi-final. good stuff. leila giggled when dan speculated that the bears' lb coach told marsh, "nice sack". i guess that's leila's line.

that's what wiki says??

dan has a thing about hands. he doesn't like small hands (fields), but he loves big hands (patrick williams on bulls). dan is now throwing it out there that the bears have a qb.

maybe. those passes sailing 2 yards over the wr's heads remind me of mitch.

I love that Leila keeps on calling last night's game, NBA. OMG, is that getting under Dan's skin. The idea that the NBA has multiple standards for what's a foul, oooh don't bring that up,
