Pantera running all the way over from CF to LF to catch a routine fly ball that was hit almost directly to where Eloy was standing and the Sox camera crew perfectly captured Eloy's reaction to the moment.

centerfielder always has priority for any ball they can get to

Even this one?

that's not the best technique by the CF. Outfielders, especially speedy centerfielders, should take a route to the catch that drives their momentum after the catch toward the infield. Robert should've circled out or run along the warning track and then come in on the catch, if needed; but mostly there to backup Jimenez in case of a misplay. Doesn't matter if anyone's on base or not--as an outfielder, always make the play as though a runner is on: set yourself up to make the throw and then immediately hit the cutoff man or get it back into 2B if bases are empty and no cutoff.

At the time I couldn't format a picture of Paul Robeson to fit, so I picked an extended family member instead.

Lots of bro's want to be Don Draper (much like how MANY Boomers wanted to be Tony Soprano), but for my money Roger Sterling is the funniest, coolest guy in the series. Plus I like to think of myself as a somewhat quick-witted drunk.

 That's NOT Mary. Although I was at a opening years ago. And that weird cow gave me the evil eye so long that my wife asked what I'd done to her. I laughed and told her that I'd never met her. Then the wife laughed.

Mine is the victory animation for Rose in Street Fighter Alpha 3. I liked her move set in the game and I had a dorky phase after high school where I could read Tarot Cards.

I frequently change my avatar and often use this one during this time of year. It's November, and I like that Samhain album.

Does one ever really fall into a bottle?

Probably dive head first into one.

Back in the day, folks were allowed to have pictures in their sigs. Someone had made a nice little graphic of B&B as their "Radio Heroes." I think this was something that was grandfathered in as I couldn't do that in my sig, but I could in my avatar, so I spent some time getting some pictures of mustachioed people that I enjoyed, and put together my own little tribute.

I like to honor John Candy around this time because he was in three films that took place in late fall/Christimas time.

Two of the films, Uncle Buck and Home Alone, were made in houses just a couple of blocks away from where my mother grew up and where my grandparents lived in Evanston on Noyes St.

Uncle Buck was filmed two doors down from my parents' house on Lincoln St. They got a little movie swag for their trouble.

Your avatar is from the time period you were relevant on this board?

I did not require an explanation for this one but didn't want to start a new avatar thread. Do we have an award for avatar of the year?
