Got to meet the best Trophy in sports and it's even better looking in person. The Sad thing is John Cusak was attached to it. (lol..Actually John was a very cool guy despite being a Cub fan wearing his Sox hat at the game. lol......... The connection is a very close friend of mine invited to me his golf outing a few years ago and I was lucky enough to go up to Detroit and skate with the team and hang out with Chris and get to know him a little bit and with that I helped raise some money for his children foundation.


Im a hockey fan and anything I get to do when it comes to hockey I will jump all over. The funny thing is I was never really a Chris Chelios fan but with him being almost 50 years old I respect what he's doing.

Are Chris and I best friends ? No , but when he has events in Chicago I get asked if I would liked to be invited and that is not just with him but other invents around Chicago wheather it's a golf outing or whatever and as I stated I'm always willing to help out good people. If it bothers you I post stuff and throw up pictures than I'll stop. I'm very blessed to be able to do fun things and I know a bunch of people here so I throw some photos up to share with the board. I think the folks who know me here know Im not a shallow guy to say "Hey look at me and I do this and that. " It's no big deal to me .

BF's just upset that he has to walk around Wrigleyville and find people from parking lots with Ronnie WOO-WOO and claim to have brushes with them as Slappy is actually meeting people.

I could really care less who meets who here and Eddie is a blowhard with his hockey and Cheli love sometimes but he does go out of his way to help these clowns out. The funny thing is that when I talked to him this morning he said Kerry Wood was with them at Stanleys and there is a FUNNY story but he doesn't want to offend BF and tell it.

While I am usually one not to really give a crap about hangin with an athlete, Cheli seems like he would be cool to hang with. Even if he is a hockey player.

I was always star struck by athletes as a yute thenl i went to college. lol

When you see what guys like Rod Strickland are really like, you aren't so impressed. That doesn't mean he is a bad guy, but the majority or pro athletes I have met don't have much to say. Sure, sometimes it is because of the awkward settings they are put into, like "Meet the players night" kind of thing.

I have met a good numbers of athletes over the years for various reasons and I would say Hockey guys are the most normal. I think that alone should tell you something.
