Cincy is getting the full moon pounding by the committee. It’ll be literally impossible for them to crack the top 4 despite going undefeated and having one of the better wins of any team outside of Oregon.

So who should Cincinnati be ahead of? Clearly not Georgia. I don't see the argument for jumping Alabama for them. You could make an argument now for OSU but that's going to take care of itself by the end of the year since they face nationally elite teams Purdue, Michigan State, and Michigan to end the season and then a likely rematch with nationally elite Purdue in the BTT game. IF OSU goes 4-0 on the way out they are easily in ahead of Cincy. Even 3-1 gives them a better resume but that one will be close.

So, then it's Oregon. Oregon-Cincy is a big problem for the committee.

cincy doesn't play a good opponent to close out their season that would bump them and they needed bigger wins against tulsa and navy (who just got pummeled by ND).

they really need to expand the playoff though.

OSU. Flip flop 4/5.

I think they’ve over ranked the big 10 teams to the point the winner of the Legends and likely conference champ would either: 1) be OSU or 2) leapfrog Cincy if not OSU.

Oregon’s OT loss wasn’t great but they beat the Buckeyes in Columbus, so I’m not sure how you move OSU ahead of them.

The more I look at it the more it looks like it's a tough choice between a 2 loss Oregon team and Cincy. If Oregon wins out, they are in. A one loss Big Ten team will get the other spot, and a two loss OSU team will get it if there is no one loss Big Ten team.

MAC football is really low grade dog food. Teams build huge leads almost every game which they inexplicably relinquish and the game is ultimately won in overtime. There is no consistency of play from quarter to quarter, like Arena football

Two loss Oregon doesn't get in.

Two loss Alabama would be an interesting question..

I thought the same thing about Boise State and it's conference right up until they beat Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl 15 years ago.

If Oklahoma goes out clean, I don't see how Cincinnati goes ahead of them either.

How does Michigan call a timeout to defend a fake punt, and then give up points because they still ran the fake successfully?

First Saturday off in six months. Some great finishes on hand.....Penn State/Michigan, Miss. State/Auburn

Love seeing Oklahoma going down, too. They gonna lose in Bedlam as well.

There's something unlikable about the Sooners this season. But I can't bring myself to cheer for any Baylor win. Among everything else, Waco is a bizarre place. Felt like Utah, but with heat.

Yeah, Baylor is just distasteful...but the Sooners have been living on the fat of an easy schedule for far too long.

In other news, Mike Leach probably won't get into heaven, but they'll bring him up to spice things up on offense.

So much for any argument that Purdue should be ranked

I turned on the OSU/Purdue game on my iPad. The score shocked me slightly so I pinched and zoomed in. It was even scarier after I did that.

Gophers about to go 0-2 after giving Fleck an extension. Par for the course for that program.

Ignoring the #3 ranked Montana State Bobcats finishing off an unbeaten home schedule vs Idaho setting up an exciting Brawl of the Wild next week against the top 10 ranked Grizz in Missoula. Typical Midwest and SEC bias I see.

To be honest, I actually did post about the Bobcats and the Grizz over on chicitysports.com. I can send you the url once this damn url-shortening app I bought gets back from the shop.
