All the parties are checked out now. Nobody wants to play for Matt Trestman anymore

The Ravens defense isn't all that good. The Bears should be able to score on them, even if Robinson isn't available. Without ARob, the Bears should score around 20 points; with ARob, they should score 28 or more.

The defense is obviously toast, so they'll give up 35 or more.

Ravens 42
Bears 23

Lamar may run for 200 yards. Hoping for at least one spin kick from the methhead.

Ravens 35, Bears 17.

I'm glad you have sobered up from the other day.

Now then, the obvious question is this: Will they beat the Ravens?

I say yes.

I think along the same lines, TM. Bears score....Ravens score a lot more.
38-27 but the game won't be as close as that score.

I wasn't anticipating the absences of Hicks and Mack, which are devastating for the Bears defense. I was also thinking Robinson was likely to play. Toss those three onto the field and the game would be much closer.

If they had all three, I'd have earnestly believed the Bears could win. The Baltimore O line is crap and their secondary isn't that hot. But between Baltimore having 10 days off, the Bears injuries and the difference in coaching, the Bears have no chance.

The Bears will lose because of Lamar Jackson.

Hopefully the offensive players(Oline, skill position players) make an effort to suck it up and play on Sundays for the kid, but yeah, the defense is totally checked out. Time to cut everyone but Roquan and Jaylon Johnson and rebuilt that unit.

10 to 3 at half time... defense will wilt under pressure in second half and bears lose 31-10

The transition to an offensive juggernaut begins Sunday

Bears 45

Without Mack, A Rob, and Hicks who were signed/traded for to make up for draft misses you basically get a team full of Pace draft picks. The inability to draft at the WR, TE, OT, and OLB positions which make up 8 of your starting 22, is glaring. Drafting poorly and then having to throw huge paper at aging vets to fill those key positions eventually catches up to you.

However, we all can take a swig of the Bears Kool-aide that Nas will be sipping Sunday because we may actually have a QB1 which will make the job easier for the next GM/HC combo.

A spot on PJ Fleck's staff would be perfect for Nagy next year, can already see the, "Be you and Row the Boat", shirts. The whole Club Dub concept would be huge with college kids who like to celebrate every win like you just won the national championship.

When he's re-added to the injury report... Good chance he doesn't start.

This will be Jackson's flu game in which he wills the team to victory despite a high fever and being dehydrated. Then 20 years from now Marquise Brown will write a book about how Jackson embellished things: he was actually sick after eating bad portillos takeout and Brown had the better claim to being a hero since he played with a broken leg. He'll also add Harbaugh was racist because he never employed a black punter or kicker.

Guessing he over-indulged last night celebrating the capitulation of the Bears' defensive unit.

Both teams pretty much had a bye. The Bears offense will be motivated to build on their 4th quarter in Pittsburgh. If they come out hot the Bears defense will play with passion. If the Bears offense struggles, I don't expect the defense to put up much of a fight.

Lamar is 50-50.. If he plays he wont be near 100 percent..not going to pound Baltimore.
