My god the next 4 days on the score are going to be unbearable. Thank God it's a quick turnaround.

Pretty sure Fields injured his ribs earlier in the game.

I imagine their narrative of the last two weeks of Fields having turned the corner and being the best chance to win has been turned around.

If he can’t develop Fields -a QB that according to all the experts around here was Nagys pick- that will be 2 QB’s he’s failed to develop when his soul purpose for being selected as the HC was his offensive genius and ability to develop a QB.. so, failure to do so can’t make him look good.

If Bears win with Dalton, I'm looking forward to Boomer on the Dumb and Dumber show.

I would look too far into this.. it’s a Nagy run team. It will start to look shitty and unprepared soon enough. Give it another game or so

This does kinda prove that Nagy cannot plan at all.

It’s interesting, because he also wanted to start Dalton because Fields wasn’t ready and Dalton gave them the best chance to win now. So if Dalton is successful, he can make the argument that they would have been a playoff team if they stuck with his plan with Dalton as starter and Fields with a few packages per game.

Being shut out at home in the first half by the worst pass defense in the league is inexcusable.

Dalton didn’t play long earlier.. but he didn’t look good when he did play.. and again, regardless of Dalton, Fields is the future. If Nagy tries to use the above reasoning as an excuse that’s just another indictment on him not having a good plan and being incapable of developing yet another 1st round QB.

Being that Nagy was brought in years ago to develop a QB here, he should have already had more than enough of an ironed out plan to develop one if he got a 2nd shot at it. He can’t fall back on ‘well I designed everything around Dalton tho..’ that’s terrible coaching in a league where ‘next man up’ is a reality.

If Jackson starts this game the Bears get blown out.

Fields still looked better than Lawrence. He doesn't have a QB in his class lighting it up. That's probably a plus for him and his development. There is more pressure when you have a Mahomes or Watson playing at an all pro level.

Did Nagy call that play for the Ravens on 3rd and very long?
