I think Doug was messing with us....but him bumping this 9 year-old thread was ironic.

Anybody ever have elbow surgery?

How long does it take your arm out of commission?

Too many sliders in the old farm league baseball teams finally got to you huh? I really need to go see a doctor about my ankle. I'm thinking if its not 100% better after almost 30 months its probably not happening.

Honestly, I think it is a combo of firing up too many 3s and using the mouse.

I didn't like running but I'd play basketball for my modest fitness plan and I used to just go shoot for a couple hours. When I got into my 40s, it started to hurt after a while. So, I stopped playing ball a few years ago.

Now it is just constant pain the past few months.

Getting old really is a thing.

My ankle was a church league softball injury. Lunged at first base beating out a grounder and crumbled like a cheap fold up lawn chair under a 500 pound man. I remember walking off the field thinking I would be ready for the playoffs in two weeks. Then hockey season. I'm retired from both now and it still bugs me from time to time.

Sue them.

I heard the churches tend to settle lawsuits.

I look at two pages of Active Topics and that's about it. Usually all I read is posts about the Hawks, The Score, and pop culture topics.

Unless there's an app I don't know about....reading and commenting on this board through a phone is intolerable.
