Blah..Blah..Blah.

I think we have to take 1 out of 3. That's what the standard is to win this division.

I'm just hoping we "back in" to the playoffs and get Quentin back.

Ok. We miss Grienke in this series. He pitched a shut out today. So that's good.

I'm glad I will be busy tommorow and Saturday so as not to watch this slopfest. I need rest from the horrible play the Sox have displayed over the last 10-12 days.

I'm numb to it. Todays loss and the Twins comback win didn't make me mad today. I just laughed. That's the way I've become when I get rejected by bitches.

I'll get my second wind tomorrow and get into it again. I just didn't care today.

Yes we noticed beardown, and frankly we expect more out of you, so lets get it together for tomorrow, shall we? :D

You'll get it tomorrow. I'm 3-sheets to the wind right now. Just got back from the bar. I'm off tomorrow. I feel no pain.

I'll help the Sox win tomorrow. I'll be back.

Come on BEARDOWN, whats with the thread here? No mention of pitching match-ups even?

Okay-on Friday its Buehrle (13-11 3.85 ERA) vs Bannister (8-16 5.77 ERA). Bannister has 3 starts vs the Sox this season and is 1-1 with a horrible 7.56 ERA in those starts. He got a win in his last start, but has been mostly awful in the second half of the season. In Saturdays game, it will be Gavin Floyd (16-7 3.73 ERA) going against Kyle Davies (7-7 4.32 ERA) Then its John Danks (10-8 3.32 ERA) facing Brandon Duckworth (3-1 5.19 ERA) . Although Duckworth has spent most of the season in the minors, he has faced the Sox 6 times in his career and has a 7.27 ERA against the pale hose. The series looks like it should easily be won by the Sox, with their 3 best pitchers going, facing 3 pitchers who are not real good. A sweep or 2 of 3 should be in order. I am not trying to be sarcastic. I really think they should take 2 of 3 at least. They need to. They will have their weaker pitchers going in the Twins series, in 2 of the 3 games in Minnesota. So they need to win these games in KC.

Beardown: Up 3-0 in first inning! Yes! i knew it! The Sox are gonna win it all! YES!! Or they may not win it all but we're going to win the division!

Kansas City with a 4 run third inning...

Beardown: Fuck! Four runs?! Jesus Christ, we suck! We suck! We don't deserve to win this division or go to the playoffs! We'll still win the division, but we suck! Fuck!

Sox come back with 5 runs by the 7th...

Beardown: AJ!!!!! Three run homer! This team is going to the playoffs, I'm telling you! Maybe we can win the world series, I don't know, but the hooker's here early...SHIT! I gotta watch the rest of this! She'll have to wait...maybe she's a sox fan?

Dotel blows the lead, Kansas City up 9-8...

Beardown: SHIT!! DOTEL SUCKS! We suck. The sox suck! We're never going to win shit, we can't even beat the Royals? We're still a game up on the Twins, maybe they'll lose! We'll still win the division I don't know if we'll win the world series! The hooker left. She said I didn't have to pay her, she's tired of visiting internet white sox fans. I told her to go back to Wrigleyville and blow herself. She told me she was keeping score. Whatever that means. The sox suck! Shit!

Sox come back, win it 10-8, Jenks with the save...

Beardown: SOX WIN! SOX WIN! SOX WIN! Okay so I didn't get laid, but so what?! Great game, great save by Jenks! Still having problems with the bullpen but at least we got the save! We'll win the division, we could even win the world series! Best game I've seen so far this year!

I wish it came to fruition...The White Sox need to take care of their own business vs. the Royals this weekend after losing 3 stinkers to a Yankee team that'll be watching the playoffs instead of being in them.

Twins and Rays are on ESPN tonight. 6pm start.

Good. I don't have to follow them on the internet.

Forget Evan Longoria down in Tampa. Alexei is the A.L. Rookie of the Year. Meanwhile, the Rays are up 11-1 in the top 9th vs. the Twins, and can clinch at least a Wildcard berth if they win. It also means the magic number drops to at least 8, Sox fans...

The magic number has dropped to 8, White Sox fans. The Rays manhandled the Twins 11-1 at Tropicana Field...I wonder if there were fans in the stands tonight...The Rays have been having trouble drawing fans, despite their first winning season in franchise history.

Folks, DeWayne Wise (?) has hit 2 homers tonight as the White Sox lead 9-4 in Kansas City in the top 9th at Kauffman Stadium. By the way, doesn't Royals' manager Trey Hillman look a little bit like comic Bill Engvall? Just wondering...

Call the cardiologist, White Sox fans... I don't know if there are many hearts who can take this much tension!

If anyone would have told me DeWayne Wise would be part of the stretch drive. I would have told you that you're NUTS!

Today's game is absolutely huge. So far, the White Sox have done exactly what I thought they'd do on this trip. Lose 3 of 4 to NY, and I have them winning 2 of 3 vs the Royals. They need to take care of business today, and ensure they have a 2.5 game lead heading into Minnesota (with the possibility of it being 3.5 with a Twins loss), and a 3 loss difference. If this lead is down 1.5 after today, it really requires the Sox to win 2 of 3 in Minnesota, in my opinion.

Last night's loss sucked, but sometimes you gotta tip your cap. Davies had it all working last nite.

Touche Brian. All too true....

I can't believe that nobody here posted anything about the Sox 3-0 win today. Great job by Danks. Unfortunately, the Twins finally beat the rays. Big series now with the Twins.
