Does losing in Detroit with a national broadcast team likely ripping your franchises ownership mean the Bears have reached rock bottom as a franchise? When you look at the lack of draft capital, tons of bad cap money, and a likely reset at HC and GM, it would be hard to argue that the franchise is in NFL hell.

The next GM will need to find out if Fields is any good or if Nagy's offensive schemes just make everyone look bad. The defense will need to be totally revamped, again you cannot tell if the players just suck or if they are so poorly coached that they continue to not know where to lineup, lose gap control, and why they continue to blow coverages. At the very least it seems the "leaders" on D are consistently stat padding, making business decisions, and have no interest in playing a team oriented defensive scheme.

Pace/Nagy leave a lot of heavy lifting for whoever is next up.

Why would another embarrassment on national tv even matter for this team?

They're basically just a bunch of goofs, top to bottom. Should be treated as such by being minimally invested or not paying attention at all until there are real positive changes.

Every week we get the same thing, more "rah-rah" talk and kicking the can down the road.

Not sure, but I do expect them to lose today.
