I quickly shuffled by ol' Fred holding court on the sidewalk with a group of sports fans while I was entering a popular suburban breakfast establishment Sunday morning. I quickly tried to recall if I had ever verbally abused Fred or if my picture had ever been posted on the site as I prepared for an epic battle.

Fortunately, I was not recognized and passed by unscathed. Fred is not as tall as I had suspected. He sounds taller on the radio.

I tried to listen in as I walked by but could only catch a few notes of Fred Huebner's dulcet tones.

Also, I didn't want my wife or kids to notice and wonder why I was eavesdropping for fear of revealing my alter ego. Even my Aunt Harriet doesn't suspect my secret identity.
