No RJ Barrett, no Nerlens Noel, and the Bulls are only -2

Dude is a midrange machine.

Thankfully he was able to keep it away from Ball in the corner the last couple mins. Dude couldnt hit anything

Off night for Lonzo but thats fine. Glad we can win when he shoots 3-14 and when he plays aggressively instead of passively good things generally happen

Clyde on the Knicks broadcast pointed out correctly the Bulls should attack the rim once Mitchell Robinson checked out with 2:30 left in the 4th. It took a few possessions for the Bulls to do it but it finally happened.

I was dying watching all the shots at Kemba on the bench. Thibs man.

He's so bad at putting the ball in the hole. He's under 40% inside the 3. I guess 5 boards and 5 assists makes up for it, but jeez.

We agree to disagree. I just can't wrap my head around him looking so uncomfortable when shooting anything other than a 3 point jump shot. I want him to succeed. I honestly feel bad for him.

Don't be so defensive. What did Nardi say that was wrong? There's no denying that Lonzo is probably the most inept player in the NBA when it comes to half court offense inside the 3 point stripe.

I can't decide whether I can like a PG who can't hit anything but a three and a dunk. And the truth is even good 3 point shooters miss 60% of 'em.

He's not good at it, but we don't really need him to be. What he excels at complements DeRozan and Lavine very well, and the results bear that out. I just don't understand how Bulls fans can watch this season so far and complain about Lonzo. Sure, it'd be cooler if he was an All NBA player, but he doesn't need to be for us to be competitive - as we clearly have seen so far.

For 20 mil per AK could have found 3 guys that would have been much more helpful. The Bulls have a gaping hole on their bench (called it early by the way) which could have been filled by divvying up the money they paid for him. That is my biggest issue (besides him really not being all that good) with the signing.

Actually yeah. Shroeder went for 5 mil. Ball isn't $15 million better than him. You could find 2 solid bench guys for 15 million. Bulls would be much better as a result.

Ball is a million times better fit for this roster than Schroder. If you replaced Ball with Schroder we'd be a .500 team. Maybe.

Nah sorry you're wrong but I'm used to it. Ball is only a slight upgrade if you want to give him that. Couple of more bench guys thrown in and this team really would have gotten interesting.

You are up on that hill defending Lonzo. You are not alone. Maybe he is a good fit for this particular team. We shall see come playoff time. I'm certainly not convinced he's a legit 45% 3 point shooter. And if he isn't..., well, that's going to leave a mark.

It's pretty easy to defend guys who bust their ass, have improved their game every year in the league, and do everything well except score.

Love Caruso too, but I'm sure plenty of people think he sucks because he doesnt average 25 ppg too

Caruso is a bench player. Probably what Ball should be if we're being honest. "Improves" is a relative term. Ball "improved" from bad to merely adequate. That's about it

I'm not worried about him not making 8fters now, I'm worried about him not making 8 fters in May when every possession means something. We just got done watching a 76er tank his entire team in crunchtime due to a scheming defense in a 7 game series.
