Says the guy who just recently discovered that Nagy was the problem and Foles isn't a good quarterback. I look forward to you discovering that Mack set the organization back in the next couple of years.

I have no problem conceding you were sour on Nagy before others. Still doesn't mean your support of Nagy in 2021 makes sense.

Nas was against Nagy before he was for him. He is the Sarah Palin of the CFMB (speaking of the Peter Principle).

That's only if you read my statements in 2021 as support for Nagy. It's more annoyance with the media and some fans who were still carrying water for Nagy as late as August. He's been the same friendly incompetent offensive coach the entire time. They've only decided to turn on this "really smart" coach because they like the new quarterback. Now, every past criticism of him is suddenly valid.

You said he was a good head coach and shouldn't be fired.

He's good at managing people. That's a trait that I would love to have in any coach. He's literally doing the same things he's always done (Sucking) except (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky isn't here for the media and some fans to kick around. If there were a laundry list of excuses for Nagy's failures before this season, they should still exist with a rookie quarterback.

Folks should own the coach they've propped up for years, and not pretend otherwise.

Then you have been in a 3 year long coma. The media had soured on Pace and were still carrying water for Nagy. Did you hear about how the great Matt Nagy targeted Justin Fields? Did you hear that Nagy knows how to identify young quarterbacks?

He's terrible at managing people, as the team's lack of commitment to doing things right on offense (they can't even shift formations crisply), lack of team discipline, and lack of accountability demonstrate. Nagy possesses all the gravitas of a high school guidance counselor and has preempted a team mutiny not through acting as a leader but by abdicating his leadership position and instead functioning as an enabler.

Incidentally, calling for Nagy to be launched is hardly novel. A bunch of posters here have favored such a move for a while. Your support of Nagy last year and this season certainly is pioneering, though!

Coaching an offense or defense and actually managing personalities is entirely different. Someone who has abdicated leadership would not have a leak free locker room and would have former and current players openly questioning him.

When I did it it was. I'm happy to see that you eventually joined me. Your quest to rewrite history doesn't change the fact that you followed me.

If Nagy is so good at managing people and personalities, how come three of his guys have been ejected for throwing a punch in a game over the last year and a half or so? One was during a playoff game in which Nagy and the Bears knew Gardner-Johnson of the Saints was going to be doing all sorts of talking!

Somebody who was a true leader and was respected as a leader would not have that happen to him more than once.

It may surprise you, but all coaches have players committing dumb penalties.

Miller is no longer on the team and he's out of the NFL. He still never criticized Nagy.

Next we'll have to question his parenting to prove how much we dislike Nagy. It's okay not to want the coach or player and acknowledge something that they do well.

It may surprise you, but throwing a punch in a game or making contact with a referee is an automatic ejection. It not even close to comparable to a bad holding, PI, or roughing the passer call.

This happens to teams that are undisciplined. Do you think Andy Reid or Bill Bellichik or even Mike Zimmer have had multiple guys get tossed for fighting during the same season?

I can't tell if this is an interesting take or a dumb take. The same could be said about LaRussa.

It sure feels like Mack is a 'Bear for Life' and that he's here until he decides he wants to play somewhere else or retire.

Mack was the key part of a legit super bowl defense. Trade justified case closed.

I dont watch the news or read newspapers, I dont listen to local sports talk.. You may be right..Im a satelite radio guy and for 2 plus years Nagy and Pace are a national joke, a punchline weekly.

He's here for at least 1 more year. I think he'll get cut after that. Unless they find another dominant interior tackle to go along with Quinn to make everything easy for Mack.

It's only not closed to those who are bored and looking for things to do.

FF, don't tell me you're one of those guys who thinks being "legit" on one side of the ball at the expense of the other isn't enough to win the SB. Clearly they were proven right.

Meh, a legit SB defense would have nutted up on the Eagles last drive.

Yup, Peters owned him in that game, teams with quality tackles shut down the Bears pass rush and kill them with short routes to the TE or slot WR.

With time comes perspective and it becomes more and more clear every day that the only reason the Bears were winning early in Nagy's tenure was Fangio, apparently a great DC can cover up for an inept HC. Why do I feel like I've seen this movie before?

They gave up a late touchdown AFTER being given the lead in the 4th quarter. That's something that our defense as consistently done in recent years. Unlike the Lovie defense or some of our better defenses in the past.

To be expected imo, the D is gassed, the time of possession is 2.5 or 3 to 1.
