My favorite has always been "Eleanor Rigby," but the best is "A Day In The Life," followed by "In My Life" and "Something." Sorry to be so basic.

Lennon hated "And Your Bird Can Sing," but I dig the riff. I like "What Is Life?" more than a lot of proper Beatles songs.

Eleanor Rigby and Let It Be.

Edit: tied for best on account of Nardi’s literalism. Scratch Let It Be if it makes him feel better.

My favorite (don't care if it is the best) is "Here Comes the Sun"

I'm partial to "Rain," too

"Eleanor Rigby" has the best lyrics.

I Want You (She's so Heavy): It's pretty heavy
Elenor Rigby: Songwriting doesn't get much better and all the strings are pretty metal
Good Morning Good Morning: Paul's solo shreds and the beats are great
A Day in The Life: Ringo's fills are awesome and nobody wants to hear someone wank about production, but damn.
Choosing the Abbey Road Medley seems wrong, but if I could call Polythene Pam/She Came In Through The Bathroom Window one song, it'd be top 5 for me.

I pretty sure if someone asked for their best album I'd only reply with 2 answers.

The best is Across the Universe of course but there’s like 3 dozen others that are fine nominees

My favorite was always Let It Be.

Although Got To Get You Into My Life was my rocker Beatles tune.

But I think their best song was either Yesterday or The Long and Winding Road. I’d accept either answer.

Yesterday is fine. Top 3 answer

I really dislike Hey Jude. I never understood how it was always #1 on WLS’s top 500 of all time on New Year’s Eve.

"In My Life" is one of the most beautiful songs.

Mothersbaugh's orchestral version from The Royal Tenenbaums is lovely. That whole scene is great.

I can appreciate the musical quality of the song but, however, the repetitive nature of the lyrics make me want to kill someone.

I think it’s pretty overrated but i dont dislike any of their songs. They’re one of those rare bands for me that simply dont make bad songs. I wanna hold your hand and shit like that is fine, ill listen to it

I'll throw a controversial opinion out there.

I like Maybe I'm Amazed better than any Beatles song.

Not the studio version. The live released version where they do the extra reprise that really goes for it. It's fantastic.

It's one of my favorite songs of all time.

Controversial is doing a lot of legwork to say bad.

Just kidding. That song is great too. Its not better than the Beatles best but life would be boring as fuck if we all agreed

The other posters are right to make fun of you, Dr. Ken.

Edit: Shoot, I need to remember this for RFDC.

Side 2 of Abbey Road is phenomenal. Does that count as one song?

As a beloved board member, I have come to understand that challenging my opinions is a rite of passage.

I'm like Worf on Star Trek. He's a badass warrior but whenever you need to show someone you've never seen is dangerous, he kicks Worf's ass. I think a 6-year-old did it one time.

But, I'm going to still throw some opinions out there.

I just like it. I was wrong to use the word better.

I will say this is better. Elton John's live performance at Top of the Pops - the swagger, the confidence in this simple and beautiful song is mesmerizing....

This one I will say is better than any Beatles song. I love Beatles and some are close but they don't beat this...this one I would argue...
