Not their best song, but the only one that's always been on my iPod/phone is "Norwegian Wood."

Yeah thats some good shit. I mean its not better than the Beatles best imo and im a Lennon guy more than Paul but anyone hating on that just doesnt love good music. Which is fine. I learned a long time ago a lot of people actively like to dislike good music

Great call on that.

That is perhaps the best example of late Beatles but it’s clearly not one song.

I like Maybe I'm Amazed better than any Beatles song.

Not the studio version. The live released version where they do the extra reprise that really goes for it. It's fantastic.

It's one of my favorite songs of all time.

Similarly, I like Band on the Run or Mrs. Vandebilt (talk about a killer bass line!).

For actual Beatles songs, I’d take All My Loving from the early period and Something from the later era.

I always liked Helter Skelter and was fascinated with a song that could inspire people to go on a killing spree. It just kind of seemed like a bad ass song. I would listen to that song over and over trying to figure out how the song and lyrics were able to influence people the way it did. I think it took a while for me to figure out that some people are just fucking crazy.

I've always counted "Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End" as one song and that's easily my favorite Beatles recording, but I will follow the rules and pick one song and go with "A Day In the Life"

Was just playing some video games and I put in theWhite Album. Bungalow Bill, Happiness Is A Warm Gun and Rocky Raccoon always make me smile. Side one better than side two but a great double album for me. I started into Revolver but finished my golf so I’ll go back to it later.

Oh c'mon. Everyone knows A Day In The Life is the greatest Beatles song. Its 50 percent John, 50 percent Paul, and George Martin collaborating with them to create that wicked orchestra part.

I'm gonna go with "I've Got A Feeling" or "Don't Let Me Down."

Serious question for Beatle Boomers who think they are the best that ever was, the best that ever will be: If you like the heavily produced orchestral type stuff, can you really say that ELO didn't take it to the next level and do it better?

The correct answer is "Tomorrow Never Knows"

Ooh, let's do favorite Electric Light Orchestra songs:

Can't Get It Out of My Head
Fire on High
10538 Overture
Last Train to London
Turn to Stone

JORR....the answer to your question is "YES".

CH:
1. Do Ya
2. Evil Woman
3, 4, 5 is a tie between Telephone Line and everything on your list.

Not afraid to admit it...I fucking love E.L.O.
